Not sure why you are getting disagrees..considering the faster RAM and additional render power it should be a given...yet Ubisoft games often seem to struggle strangely.

From seing both games running I can assure you especially inside there is a substancial difference in lighting.
I highly doubt you really do though.
I have a five year old middleclass i5 and it still runs everything perfectly fine with my 970. Far from a "substancial rig".

A 970 runs the game perfectly fine (in 1080 that is). One just needs to reduce unnecessary stuff like reflections.

The game has RPG mechanics. You need to level up significantly and use a high level sniper rifle with some mods if you want one shot kills.

After seing both versions live after the higher framerate and AA the biggest difference is the sharper textures, the lighting and improved Ambient Occlusion.

The game looks very close to the first E3 build and identical to the last PC-E3 build...and the console version just looks like their last demonstration on X1 hardware. I don't know what people were expecting tbh.

What you guarantee me only shows you don't have much of a clue about PC gaming.
I bought my PC 5 years ago for 800 and the only thing I upgraded since then was a GTX970 about a year ago. Runs everything at 1080p with 60 FPS on max or close to max details.
Everyone only turns against you if you act like a duck and become rogue.
Not more than 700-800 max and you have a PC that is already far superior to an X1.
Definitly a playable full game.
Really like the fresh approach to story and gameplay.
Best simulator != best truck simulator.
