Kahuna, in that case it's unfortunate but a known problem...they are working on it. The problem why some people get motion sick seems to be the narrow FOV in the game. Gonna be fixed in a patch soon.
The game is 40-80 or more hours long. I wonder how that can be a rip-off...assumed you like puzzle games. If you don't I must wonder why you bought the game though,
Not sure if serious. Also how was Watch Dogs a rip-off?! And how do you even compare those two?!
Game still looks great. They changed the colour grading quite a lot though...thankfully there are things like SweetFX on PC to take care of that.
Good game. Not on a The Witness or Talos Principle level but fun.
Played it several months ago on PC already...why the late review?!
@Areswarlord
Theoretically...yet true game performance is nothing like that. Just look at Rise Of The Tomb Raider. The game is optimised badly on PC .. struggles to reach 60 FPS even on high-end machines.
Like I said before...people who compare pure PC to console performance behave immature and simply don't have a clue how it really works. The much better optimised APIs on consoles make them perform far better than a comparable PC would. Maybe DX12 and V...
That's simply the reason we will never see PS3 emulation on PS4. The Cell was too much of a beast.
Truly amazingly atmospheric game. Masterful work by Dontnod. They are among my favourite developers atm because they like to experiment, do things differently (hence the studio name). Their last game Remember Me was also impressive on the character, atmospheric and story side. It just had a little strange fighting mechanics which hindered the game from becoming a truely great.
Why are you talking about yourself in plural?!
This game is in my top 3 of all time...together with The Last Of Us and The Witcher 3. Characters, story, atmosphere, soundtrack..all exceptional. You definitely should play it! I don't believe a remaster is ever going to happen, nor backwards compatibility. It's worth going back to your 360! The game still looks great today.
Getting really nostalgic...thinking back at times where we used to draw maps or puzzles from RPGs or Adventure games, when games didn't hold your hand as they usually do today...
80 hours in and still far from finished. The side quests are just so good I want to finish all of them!
While Oculus does indeed have a slightly better resolution PSVR has the much better OLED screen with up to 120 Hz and three RGB sub pixels per pixel which totally eliminates the screen door effect. Resolution is not everything...just saying.
Yet games like The Order or Driveclub look better than anything on PC and games like Rise Of The Tomb Raider or The Division look very close and sometimes perform even better than any middle class PC would...due to better optimisation! It has always been like that. It's simply immature to behave like an elitist.
I am mostly gaming on PC btw!
As the PS4 I believe it looks best in white. So futuristic.
The new model is almost silent..you won't regret it!
Damn.. The way Drake looks so beat up in that picture is giving me goosebumps already! Can't wait!
I mostly game on PC but even I have never seen a game so visually stunning in my life, be it on consoles or PC! The art design, clothing, weapons etc. was incredible as well. Well deserved RAD!
You only say that because you haven't seen the real difference on your monitor/ TV. Heavily compressed YouTube videos or screenshots don't do it justice.
@Bdub2000
I was talking about stuff specialised sites like Digital Foundry observed. You are talking about subjective differences caused by different contrast settings.
The guy should be slapped for including Flatout 4...did he forget what a disaster Flatout 3 was?!
Bugbear, the developer of the great Flatout 1&2 games is working on a different racing game called Wreckfest, a mixture between Flatout and Destruction Derby. Only on PC atm though.
