That reminded me that along with the Ratchet and Clank crew, the peeps form SOCOM were working on Resistance also, or at least some of them...something like that.

When a ps3 controller starts flashing those lights, all you gotta do is plug it into the console and continue playing...that way you never worry about it dying and not being able to play especially if you have two or more. I already decided to reserve them both...with Resistance 2 being the obvious first day buy b/c I bough the first one and love it, Killzone 2 will be a day wait just to make sure it doesnt flop, in which case it will stay in Gamestop so I can have money to buy FF13 and FF versus 13, also NCAA Football 09 and NBA 2K9(hopefully the cancellation of college hoops 2k9 will be false and I'll get that too)....but i'm planning on owning all 6 and those are the only games I have slated on my 08 list to...
I'm pretty sure there are more ps3s here in NA therefore devs are canning the japan first releases...even the psp stopped with the last update for some reason i dont know and im pretty sure some people here know the reason. but anyway, I don't remember the last big game that I wanted for ps3 that released in Japan before NA. All I have to say is look at Final Fantasy...they do this every time they release a game, keep details low, release a small teaser trailer every once in a while, and then unleash what potentially becomes a great game, depending on if you like that sort of thing. Even the demo of FFXII was different from what the release was, maybe done purposely just to let you try out the new battle system and to get feedback from it since that was the only thing I noticed was the same in the full game. It's not Sony, the developers can put it in if they want, I own Resistance and Burnout Paradise, both let you check your friends and message them. I heard that one of the PSN games lets you use music from the hdd(I think it was High Velocity Bowling or watever its called). Certain games put too much money into buying licenses for songs and all that legal stuff to put in an ability for you to disable and therefore waste that money they spent especially games made by big publishers such as EA ...

If you really want BC, you can go buy a ps2 for like $50 and as for complaining about the 20GB...it might lack hdd space and wireless and memory stick add ons...but they aren't necessary. You can add an ethernet adapter for wireless(i find wired connection more reliable and faster). You can plug in a media card reader, or just use flash drives.
