Have you ever thought that they may be remaking ALL ff7 games? The whole story of FF7 isn't just in FF7. There's Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, those mobile spinoffs, Advent Children. They are all part of FF7 and each provided their own "unique experiences". Everyone seems to be falling prey to unconfirmed speculation.
None of the titles have been confirmed for PC. The author of the article is misleading people for clicks.
The title of the article is misleading and is just pure speculation. The author probably needs a dictionary.
I'm thankful for still being able to type these words and feel excited for things that has yet to come in my life.
I would suggest that he actually finishes FFXV first before being very ambitious on other projects. It's not wrong at all but since FFXV is pretty much his first ever big game and not to mention it's not even entirely his creation and the fact it has yet to be released then I think it would be better to release that first and see if the game ends up being amazing. Because if it flops and ends up a critical failure then I doubt any project would actually be given to him.
They are from cutscenes and some are even from the CGI cutscenes. They are not from gameplay.
I don't get why he was comparing it to the concept art. That was just it, a concept art and not the game. It did not have "2d assets" as it was just a painting. The comparison is ridiculous. By that logic we should expect most, if not all games to look like paintings with apparent brush strokes.
TBH The Xb1 is doing great on its own. It's selling better than the 360. The Ps4 is just doing so much more that I think they shouldn't really aim to surpass it. But if we're talking chances then the Xb1 might have a chance in the US but everywhere else? Not one bit.
It's not his words but Square-enix'. Cross-play is THE reason FF14 is not on XboxOne.
Remote play and play it on your Vita when you're out.
Read the description first. There is only 1 remaster in the collection and that's dream drop distance. You're getting an HD remaster, a movie and a completely new current gen game that is the continuation of Birth by sleep in this package.
DDD is the only remastered game in the collection. KHX is a movie and BBS .2 is a entirely new current gen game.
Dude, Have you not seen the special edition consoles they release in Asia? Those easily are THE best looking ones ever made.
What do you mean 10 years? They restarted development of the game on 2012. This is not a port of Versus 13, it's a completely new game made from scratch. The only assets they transferred from Versus are the Character designs, concepts and such. Coding, character models, graphics engine, pretty much everything that makes a game were all made anew.
We don't entirely know if Luna won't be doing the same. For all we know they just changed her name and some of her scenes but her wielding a magical sword and fighting Noctis in one way or another remains intact.
Yes it is. Games are tech. How can there be any games if there weren't any tech powering them?
It says coming soon and not 2016. Where the hell did they get that from?
Why would they? This is a remake, an update, an improvement. So why would Square stick to the old system? If you want to play FF7 with the original battle system as it is and everything as it is then just buy and play the PC port or the Ps4 port of the original.
What a shallow way of doing comparisons. Those games are of different genres and thus should never be compared to each other. Puzzle and Dragons could have been a great puzzle game, thus the high score. You can NOT compare that to Xenoblade. Is Xenoblade a puzzle game that you can access anytime through a mobile or a handheld platform? No.
Really, I would say so if anyone from Square actually confirmed anything but no one did. Just pure speculation from people and you are all believing it. I wonder what your reactions will be if they ever confirm the remakes of the whole ff7 collection. Until then, I will stand by my belief. If they do release it as an episodic game, then I will stand corrected.
