Tbh I don't think many people thought they'd buy a switch and be done with memory. At 32gb storage. You'd expect to get much less based in the OS.
For me I'll be fine. As I got a 128gb SD card in my phone currently. So when or if I get a switch. I'll trade that over to a 32/64gb card and use my larger one in my switch.
It's not like buying a PS VITA card and it being tied to the system. And marked up at a stupid price.

It's not just 720p at 30fps. From the photos it's 720p with a much lower detail setting at 30fps. Can't just compare resolutions and frame rates and be done with it.
For a small tablet device it'll be great. Really unsure what this will look like once it hits the big screen. Doubt it'll be pretty on my 55" TV.

I completely agree. The mobile market are just as bad. Premium paid games having adverts and microtransstions is a joke.
It's only going to get worse for console gaming. The more we buy the games even ignoring the Mt they'll try push more content behind these pay walls.
This is why you wait before purchases.
Buying a console early is always playing the risk of no games. The switch has a handful of titles some hit and miss. But there's a good selection.

It's the game cartridge, Nintendo sell them at 1,2,4,8,16 and I believe 32gb in side. As Nintendo know how to compress their games well, they can use the smaller cards (think Mario Ody, is like 5.8gb), so they can sell us a £40 game with using a £4 or so production card.

I agree. It's a handful of support. It's a nice start but it could just be an Ea tactic. Send over a couple of games if they don't sell well. No longer support the system.
All Bethesda games haven't even released yet, so there's no telling if they make or break their budgets. Which then would show the future off 3rd party.

I got a copy early and played a good 8 hours so far. It's a decent game, rather difficult in that you gotta explore every nock and cranny to make progress.
Hunting for DNA and each metroid (bug boss fights) are very rinse and repeat. You gotta do like 42 of these throughout the course off the game. Which ruins a lot of the creativity within.
But they aren't great points true or not.
The exclusives seems to be the best option. (But both Nintendo and Sony have exclusives every so often).
They aren't really arguing points. "Why buy a Switch over a ps4/xbox, I'll tell you. It's because it's portable" is what we see often in articles.
Why buy a Switch when a phone is also portable, makes phone calls, take photos, has media support, can play games...

Not played final fantasy properly since ten. Tried ff15, great looking title, ruined by the combat.
Looked at ff12 and 13, just couldn't bring myself to play them. I'm one of the people who'd like the good old turn base system and not the try to reinvent the wheel kind of guy.
So we now have the argument points at
PS4 players have the exclusives
Xbox players have the best online
And now Nintendo players are using portability as their go to point.

It's a great feature to be implemented on the Switch. My brother loves playing PS4 titles and banging them out for those platinum trophies. If it's not going to take something away from the Switch, it's a much welcomed feature.
Tbh, are people really that fussed over checker board, true 4k and upscaled 1440/1800p?
A lot of 4k Tvs out there do a great job with upscaling. I've not played a lot of true 4k content, and played some games which are upscaled or played at 1440p (UC4 etc), that they look great as they are.
True, I'd love a solid native 4k/30fps (would prefer 60fps) experiences, but so far I've been happy with the quality in solid frames, and the games that use HDR.

It's because everyone had this high expectation of this 500 million dollar game. To then see what we were really given on release, it wised everyone up for any DLC or next instalment on the series.
Sure they improved the game over the course of it's life. But for many (including myself) the damage was already done.

I really doubt it. Porting a last gen game over to 3 new platforms doesn't mean anything. It's cheap to do and could make money. Building a whole game for current gen then porting that to an under powered system (comparing it to Xbox one, ps4 and pc) will take a lot of work and resources to get a balanced version.
Rockstar could do it, but I just don't see it.
It's the branding. Because it's written for the ps4. The users who know nothing about hdds will pay the extra thinking it's the right choice.
I bought the Seagate expansion 2tb, then ripped that thing apart and put the drive inside my console. Was way before they released the external patch.
Destiny has brought halo onto multi platform. Destiny has a lot of similarities to halo.
