I hadn't seen the trailer before. Checked it out this morning. It looked gripping from a thriller point of view. Only thing that got me was the dads vocal acting didn't quite connect in some scenes (where he flips the table, his acting fell flat ).
I played Heavy rain for the crime thriller experience and the story was really gripping. Being based on something that could really happen made it feel more real. (Something you expect from a movie, where boundaries are ...
I figured that the game was so so after 20-23 hours. The weapon breakage is the worst implemented feature they added. Not many weapons last long enough, even if their rare. They still have a real low duration. I googled how to get the Master sword and was disappointed it breaks as well.
I rushed the last quarter of the storyline, sold off my copy and not looked back.
The small details in the game was the only thing that impressed me. Clouds actually casti...
Wish this was more like diablo as it would've done my itch for dungeon loot fest. But it's more like magicka with a small loot system.
Tried the demo on the eshop, it was ok but at £18 I'll pass. Rather wait for a proper d3 clone for the N.Switch.
Heard Bout this on YouTube. I took it with a pinch of salt as it's the internet. Anything can be made up.
If true, that's crazy.
Pipboy edition was a joke. Tacky quality. That I sold mine for £60 without the game. Wouldn't buy any collectables from Bethesda anymore (Doom statue was low quality as well).
If physical games are going away. Hopefully the cost of digital games will become much cheaper. As it stands digital games cost over £10-15 more (sometimes £25) more than its physical counter part.
Tried the alpha and the controls have a learning curve to them. So I wonder how this will do with the casual market who just want to play all and not struggle.
I didn't back the Kickstarter. Still waiting in a handful of games to be released from 2013 onwards. That I've stopped using KS.
Doesn't look bad. Revs 2 had fun gameplay. But such a poor story line. The raid mode was decent but grew tire-some very quickly.
I would like to see a port of the RE HD packs (re0, 1, 4, 5, 6). As I think I'll skip this Revs 1 and 2 combo. But wouldn't mind playing re0 on the switch.
Nah, blizzard would just go the route of World of Warcraft and have the unique, sweet looking items behind a cosmetic pay wall/store.
Nothing in the gambling rules of having cosmetic dlc everywhere.
Already own a PS4 pro, then an Xbox one and now a switch.
I don't see myself needing an Xbox one X.
I sold the Xbox one for being a bad console, laggy on snap features. Horrible U.I and no one I knew owned one. That's just left me with a bad taste that supporting g another Xbox console wouldn't benefit me.
The switch , I got it at a very discounted rate (£150), so far played mario Odyssey, mario + rabbids, mario kart and now ...
Game here in the UK are sh*t.
Their over priced. Their own online store is usually £5 cheaper and has free delivery. Compared to their physical store.
Online retailers (who also have physical stores) are a lot cheaper than GAME.
Why would we shop at a place that's designed to mug us off?
My most recent purchase. Skyrim Nintendo switch
Coolshop £37.99
Game online £49.99
I was a vanilla wow player. Did all content up to half of Naxx. The game was great but it was broken as hell. Being a paladin I was forced to be holy to raid and to quest you were an auto attacking plate wearing bubble boy.
Bear druids couldn't tank. Cat druids couldn't Dps. prot paladins were useless. Took you hours to find a group for ubrs and then took a month to find a guy with the key...
Don't get me started on brd and the Onyxia quest chain.
...
Exactly. Try fix what's broken (good 60% off the game) or don't bother.
Wotlk was a great xpax. Really enjoy almost all of that. Missed out on Ulduar when it was current content ><
Vanilla was good. But it was super slow making progress. Gearing 40 people was a nightmare.
Got a feeling classic servers are going to be a massive disappointment. Classic wow was broken, being forced to play a spec so you could raid. Half the specs in the game didn't work properly.
Farming required resistance gear took months, putting boss progress in hold (ragnaros, queen huraran).
I loved my first experience in vanilla wow. But that's because the game was new and exciting. The rise tinted glasses will fade when we see this reboot of the old ...
It's somewhat to expect with the switch. For portable mode it's not going to be as obvious as it's only a 6" display.
For TVs it's where you'll see night and day.
But can't really compare the graphics of the PS4 pro to a Nintendo switch. It's not what the switch was designed for.
I'm glad to hear this runs well, even at a graphic downgrade. It just means more games could see porting over. I love my N.switch...
I completely agree with you on BOTW. it's an ok game but it hasn't changed the gaming industry at all. It may of changed the legend of Zelda. But everything above is it's weakness.
They spent too much time making this world and everything else had suffered for it. The dungeons were the worst I've experienced in any Zelda game
I never managed to complete Zero dawn, due to the rinse and repeat game play. I unlocked some sand zone and then grew bored of the same hunt quests, collect this and that. It's something I would like to adventure back into but just wasn't one of those players that got sucked in for hours and hours of game play.
Open world games are fun but some just do a less exciting g job as others.
I dont think there's much to worry about. It's going to be a hard sell and to play catch up just doesn't look like it'll be able to do that.
Power is one thing, but the price of this is rather high.
Also wasn't the PS4 at one point selling 2:1 against the Xbox?
I didn't really connect with the trailer. Thought it was something from the walking dead. Was hoping to see something from Joel or Ellie. But got a few people I knew nothing about.
They need to make the game with the ability to pick the combat.
Option A) turn base
Option B) what ever SE pick when they reinvent the wheel.
Disliked ff15 due to the poor controls. They got to stop trying to create new control schemes each game. They never master the combat system, and then change it up yet again to a rushed half arsed attempt.
