Last I heard graphics don't make the game... gameplay and story is far more important.
I really liked the graphic style of Octo path, but I felt the game had periods where it felt a little flat and I never got around to completing it. But I will be pushing it more soon on Xbox gamepass in the coming months as I got more time spare.
I rushed through the video. Not sure if I'm that excited for much that was shown. The classic emulated games, really depends on the cost of the subscription.
I'm curious to see if Nintendo can offer a good price point or miss the mark here.
Last gen was the remaster era.
Or as known as the capcom re4 era...or also known as the Skyrim era.
I never got the hype of skyrim, I played a lot of it. Probably over 50 hours maybe 100hrs. But it's not this ground breaking god of a game for me. I like the fallout universe a little more. But outside of mods and bugs, I never quite got the same level of amazement as everyone else.
@phillydillydee I completely agree. The whole limited run of an emulated set of games was a slap in the face. Nintendo are such a large successful company they don't need to do these moves.
I have a switch, I barely play it. I hacked it, got it server locked.
My respect for Nintendo hasn't been as strong in recent years. They just do to many anti consumer things.
I remember when Nintendo stated they don't want media apps on the switch because everyone owns another device that can play Netflix etc.
I don't think Nintendo really know how to read their player base. The slow release of Bluetooth audio shows this.
The remake for me was fun for a couple of hours but become stale not that far into it. The end became a real drag.
Also the npc who gives you the training missions felt like an after thought. That I just gave up doing these silly side quests.
Towards the last few hours I was already done and wanted the game over with. That I have very little interest in the 2nd game.
My partner watched me play the remake and came away not really understanding ...
I tried listening to it but it felt cheesy that I just skipped that section of the ps show case video. Due to the odd dialogue choice I feel I have no interest in the game.
I agree. I skipped through a lot of it. With only spiderman 2 really peaking my interest.
Alan wake remake looks like a lazy port.
Man I'm unsure if I can play this, I used to be really scared of the idea of aliens when I was young, the whole X-Files theme tune messed me up when my brother used to watch it.
Looking at the trailer I felt a little uneased. But it does peak my interest. Not sure if it'll bring back childhood fears.
Sadly the game is pretty forgettable, the first major area you get to explore has some really cool enviroments that I remember well. But the dark world and light world is very much Silent Hill. The splitscreen feature is a gimmick at best, you are only looking at one location at a time and it's not often you need to glance over to the other screen (no need to interact outside of the dark world / light world at the same time).
They take a mechanic and repeat is more often than it...
The original is also on gamepass console for people who hasn't seen it.
It's the same with the Nintendo switch to get games to run on that you get a lower resolution/graphic setting version of the game.
And tbh it is the same game. Not the same experience. Its once you cut content out that's where the game is not the same.
The game is the puzzles, the controls, the levels. A game isn't the graphic level.
We grew up not caring about graphics because you could experience a game with low quality graphics an...
Explain? Because I'm not seeing what you're seeing.
My friend was hyping it up. Then he tried some modded version/private server of the game and said it was the best version if d2. As it followed ideas of path of exile.
I watched my ex play this on the Wii U, and it looked OK. But I never had the urge to take over and give it ago. Unless it's on game pass, I doubt I'd play it.
I'm not sure on the name as I usually watch reviews on YouTube. But as soon as I saw a 1/5 I instantly thought this was a user review looking for attention.
Even if its more of the same platformer sort of game it shouldn't be reviewed so low. Unless the review hated the game and quit shortly in.
I've tried this game again and again and each time I feel like I'm just playing it in the sake of playing it. Not really sure if I enjoy it or dislike it.
I'm only level 7, I ended up doing a lot 10 mission at lvl 3 which caused me to die a few times. (I didn't realise the recommended level of quests in the small text at the time). So my first experience was bad. But as soon as I stacked HP on skill points it wasn't as a bad experience.
The l...
I've gotten a few beta codes for the 5th and I didn't pay for them. Intel had a give away, so me and my friends grabbed a few for free.
Most likely a Switch U...
