Who said that?
One in Japan would be nice. The best time frame would be the Sengoku era.
Luigi's Mansion was released after the 3DS started selling well.
This doesn't cement that they should go third party. It's a spin off game that they're giving you until the newest Zelda game.
Ryse looks good because that was all they focused on.
It was extremely linear and you could tell they cut corners with the actual gameplay.
Yes, I know this is an EA game. I was comparing EA and 2K, hence "the lesser of TWO evils".
This games is trash but I'm not going to play 2K14 because 2K hates gamers, that's my point.
So... uhhhhh... I was well aware this is an EA game.....
I played it, it just wasn't good. Gameplay was shallow and repetitive.
If any Xboxone owners want a launch game that doesn't suck, get Dead Rising 3 or Forza. Right is pretty, but it sucks.
This game sucks, 2K wants to shove always online down our throats, and there is nowhere else to go. A different person would just go with the lesser of the two evils, but not me. I guess it's time to stop playing NBA games. *Sigh*
Exactly my thought. It's pretty but that doesn't stop it from being boring an repetitive. It's currently sitting with a 61 metascore and an even lower user score on Metacritic.
@Foxrot, people are saying you're reacting because you are. Square Enix was releasing cell phone games before anyone had the idea of an iPad. Nobody panicked back in 2002, when Square Enix started making mobile games, and nobody should panick now.
Calm down, it just a side thing. They are a multi-plat company after all. They're still working on the next gen version of Tomb Raider along with the sequel.
I never understood people getting mad just because a company makes a few games for mobile devices.as long as they keep making games for consoles and dedicated handheld, I couldn't care less. I'm most certainly not going to wish they go bankrupt.
There is no way to justify putting micro-transactionsin a paid for game. Either make if free to play and put them there or charge for the game without putting in micro-transactions.
What part of DoubleHelix were still the main developers are you not getting? I'm saying that DH should have never touched the game. They make horrible game.
That game should have been developed by Rare, not Double Helix. You can keep bringing up Kenn Lobb overseeing development until you're blue in the face but that still doesn't change the fact that double helix should have never touched the game.
Rare studio should have developed it, period.
How are you going to tell me what I've played? Yes, I played Ryse and I found it to be repetitive. Yes, the graphics and character models are stunning (Sometimes I had to stop to admire the scenery). Yes, the kills in the game are brutal and cool to look at but there isn't much there besides that. Maybe they will be able to nail gameplay in a sequel. I'll look forward to that.
Fighter Within.... Fighter Within.... It was just plain awful. Please don't make me...
Yeah, I agree, his stories are a little "meh".
I think Telltale does it better. They may not have the kind of polish or graphics Cage has in his games but they can keep you on the edge of your seat.
My list:
Ryse
Lococycle
Fighter Within
Ride to Hell
Walking Dead: Survival Instinct
Although I do agree with the article, Colonial Marines was bad. I never played Hometown Story though.
Microsoft should have given the the project to Rare themselves. DH are terrible developers.
This game could have been better if Rare worked on it. It's sad how Microsoft wastes their talent on a device that nobody likes or cares for.
Wow, this got my hopes up. I'm tired of article titles that make it seem like something is officially confirmed but then it just ends up being something that a journalist think is a "hint".
The only time "confirmed" should be in the title is if it's officially coming from a source that actually confirms it.
But one is selling better than the other.
