They've already made mobile games. They just never see the light of day outside of Japan.
Mobile gaming doesn't work for everyone. Atlus' core audience is on consoles and dedicated handhelds, it's where they make the bulk of their money. This is how they make a living.
I don't think Persona Q would work on the Vita.
It's basically an Etrian Odyssey game with Persona skin and you have to draw out your map on the bottom screen as you go through the dungeons.
I don't see how that would work on a single screen device unless they intend to have you constantly pausing your game to draw your map, which would be annoying.
I would prefer an Arena port or Persona 5 Portable.
The OneeChanbara games never look that pretty.
Believe it or not, this game is actually considered a high budget title for the studio it is developed in.
The games always have the same issues:
The enemy variety is always lacking.
The visuals are always lacking.
The games are always repetitive.
It's all about watching babes in skimpy outfits slaughter hordes of zombies! And that corner is where the game shi...
I haven't played a bad Kemco game yet.
I have faith in the company and I'm sure it will be a decent experience. Kemco games are among the only mobile games I actually play.
I will, just for you!
Thank you for caring so much!
Who wouldn't want to play that game?
Black Flags had it's issues but it was far from a bad game.
The issues you listed are problems in all Assassin's Creed games. I never found the story or combat in any of the games to be engaging, even in the first couple of games.
What I loved was trailing enemies, surprise kills from rooftops, and experimenting with the multiple gadgets. Black Flags had all that plus good naval combat.
They were extremely rough tech demos that were made to showcase things that Nintendo can do with the gamepad.
These titles are far from complete.
Never played or showed interest in Dishonored before. I'll check it out.
This will give me a reason to turn on my 360. I haven't touched it since I bought Phantom Breaker: battlegrounds a couple months ago.
If only we could get a release date for Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.
Seriously, I don't think Nintendo has ever been this quiet about a game. This game can seriously help move consoles, considering Fire Emblems newfound fame.
Everyday I wake up hoping for some kind of information, but I get nothing.
/rant over
Smash Brothers will probably move consoles, but I am unsure about Hyrule Warriors. Being a Zelda spinoff, i...
Man, sad to see Persona Q is no longer up there. It had a great debut, better than most of the other games of the series, than it dropped off the face of the charts.
Don't get me wrong, the sales were far from bad, I just thought it would have more staying power.
Maybe you should have read my whole comment before going on a tear filled, butt hurt, mini rant.
I said gaining "steady footing"; as in WiiU numbers seem to be settling in a decent range. Yes, I am aware that WiiU sales dropped after the MK8 craze but they've been in the 8k to 9k area for a few weeks now, which is better than what the WiiU used to sell in Japan.
I said nothing to suggest that I thought it was doing spectacular or it was flying o...
Good to see WiiU gaining a steady footining.
If anything, Nintendo should focus on Japan a lot more. It looks like they actually have a chance in winning Japan at least.
Those VitaTv sales are depressing though. Hope it does better in the west.
It bombed in Japan.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is coming to NA next year. This was confirmed a while ago
They were showing it off at Nintendo's Treehouse stream at E3.
I don't know about a vita version though. Probably won't happen.
I don't know how to feel about it. This is Capcom and they will be sure to nickel and dime you.
That wouldn't be a secret. That game was announced over a year ago.
DMC 5 is more likely than a DmC 2. DmC had low sales and Capcom had to halve their sales expectations. DMC 4 had a better debut.
After this, Capcom decided to increase in-house development.
I can look you in the face seriously and tell you this:
DMC 2 and 4 may have been low points for the series, but they were better than that rebooted trash Ninja Theory developed.
I hope Capcom took those disappointing sales and learned th...
It's not news and that is why it is not listed as news.
If you want nothing but news, click on the tab that says "news". It's right under the big N4G logo in the upper left hand corner.
It will display all of the articles that are labeled as news.
Thank god!
They already put the knife in the Devil May Cry franchise. No need to twist it around and put the franchise in more agony.
These guys are mostly good developers though, so I'm looking forward to what they have to show. I'll just pretend DmC never happened.
You do realize that arcade games are a different animal, right?
They are designed to take as much money from you as possible! When you end up comparing a rental service to an arcade, you know you are about to be severely ripped off.
