It's not telling you what to like as much as it is helping you make the decision.
The way I see it, it is a game, it just has different gameplay than other genres. When people say point and click games don't have gameplay, I laugh. The point and click aspectis the gameplay. There are people who prefer this type of gameplay compared to others; it all come down to preference.
As I stated in my comment above, gamers are afraid of things that are different. Things that break tradition are looked at as weird and awkward. Although I do agree that the price ...
I have no problem with it. That's the problem with games today; they are so afraid to break formula that anything that does is instantly hated.
Imagine if games like Night Trap came out today, gamers would criticize it to hell because they are too attached to what they already know. I am all for games that are willing to try new things and aren't afraid to give you a new experience.
It's not just about 1080p and 60fps, it's about what games PS4 gamers would enjoy playing a better version of.
Skyrim could benefit a lot. They could fix the bad load times, pop in problems, bad textures, and the frame drops that plague the game. They could also take the time to iron out the plethora of bugs in glitches inside the game.
Maybe the XboxOne, it's not that hard to be better than poorly received games like Ryse, Lococycle, or Fighter Within, but it's not a PS4 killer in anyway.
On another not, the game looks fantastic. I can't wait to get my hands on this. Monolith never disappoints me.
Are you serious?
Bravely Default
Final Fantasy: The 4 heroes of light
Kingdom Hearts: 3D
Final Fantasy: Crisis Core
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Etc...
All made by Square Enix, all released after FF 12 and KH 2, and all of them were good games.
Because it's better if he moves on to his next project after this games releases. No need to port an older game when they can be working on delivering the next experience.
"That’s the gist of what the developer thinks “using a female character” as a noted positive entails: Acknowledging their existence for eye candy."
Wait! What?! Where in this video was that said or implied? The author of this article is severely grasping at straws.
L.A Noire was developed by Team Bondi. It was only published by Rockstar.
Sounds likehe was trolling and doing a little more than expressing his opinion.
It won't be too long until they make you pay a fee to continue the game after every death.
Only possible with the cloud!
Why does this have a PC tag? ;)
"When a 3D Mario game flops, it's safe to say that games alone are not going to turn things around."
But it didn't flop. It sold more than a million copies, by this time it could be close or even over 1.5 million. That's more than some exclusives on the X1 and PS4 sold.
The game isn't on current gen. It's on last gen consoles.
This is extremely false. Apple products sell a lot in Japan.
Microsoft just doesn't offer things people in Japan want.
MGS 3 is not on PC. Just because you can emulate a game doesn't mean that it's for that platform. It just means you can play a game for another platform on your own. Just because I can emulate Pokémon on my tablet doesn't mean it's for Android.... anyways, that's besides the point.
The moment you decide to game exclusively on one platform is the moment you decide to give up the chance to play games that are exclusives to other platforms. You can't...
You could always play MGS 1 or 2 and pretend that you're playing the latest installment of the series.....
Those are on PC.
Wow, that would have looked amazing.
But it is a fact.
