Man, this is going to be awesome! I'm imagining a SoniComi game with VR support.
Nothing wrong with that.
I don't know why people think there is some unwritten rule that says you have to play as a guy when you're a guy.
Devs don't care about you seeing games tap into the power of your next gen console. They want money and cross gen titles appeal to a wide audience.
Why people seem to think developers would suddenly stop trying to make money is beyond me.
Don't play free to play games. Problem solved.
You're playing something that developers have put thousands, sometimes even millions, of dollars to make. And you're playing it for free. Are you surprised that they try that hard to make that money back?
If you want an even playing field, play a buy to play game where you pay once upfront and everyone gets the content from the start.
"I think Surf and Fly need to be retooled aswell. I think it's silly that a Pidgy can use fly to move you around despite being a tiny bird or a Azurill can get you across the water. I know it would restrict you but at least then it would make a little more sense"
The Pokémon world doesn't need realism. This is a world where creatures have powers and batlle each other, they do things that are impossible. Plus, it has been established they smaller creatu...
Why does everybody hate Fable 3 so much? Okay, it wasn't as good as 1 or 2 but it wasn't terrible.
I really wish they would have made a single player game. I enjoyed all the the Fable games (Even Fable 3. I don't know why people hate it so much) but I can't get behind this.
Pretty sure Toad isn't even human.
You're assuming that people automatically give up on Mario when they turn 15+ and they suddenly only play M rated games. That's a wrong and horrible assumption. That's almost as bad as the drivel in this blog.
Also, I think you're forgetting games like Mario Galaxy and Paper Mario, which have definitely changed the basic format.
Also, saying "every one 15+ is playing games like BioShock, Call of Duty, GTA, Assassin's Creed" is a ...
No, I decided to download it an it has been as bad as I thought it would be. It's a pretty average game. The lowest point in the series.
I probably would have been a lot more satisfied if they gave us number 2, even though it's older.
But that 20 to 35 % decrease was inconsistent, looking at the Wii's numbers. So you can't really come to a logical conclusion that the core audience would have followed the pattern, as the pattern was unpredictable.
According to you, the Wii should have sold less than the GameCube.
You also never mentioned the Nintendo Color TV. The Nintendo Color TV, Nintendo's first console, sold less than the NES (The NES was Nintendo's second console).
It's less than $200 away.
I'm an early adopter and I still see the importance of developers supporting last gen consoles. It's not milking it as much as it is protecting your investment. With the rising cost of game development, you want to make sure you reach as many people as you can. The install base of current gen consoles aren't enough to cut it.
They would be alienating a large number of potential customers if they did that. Not everyone has made the switch. Some people don't have the means and some people don't feel as if there is enough on current gen consoles.
Currently, I use my PS3 more than my PS4 because next gen is basically a barren wasteland and PS4 doesn't have that many games that interest me.
I imagine it's that way for a lot of people. When next gen consoles get more gam...
It's too early, not enough people have made the switch. We'll see support for last gen systems dwindle in maybe a year and a half. By that time, there will still be cross gen titles but next gen only will become the norm.
John Marston was cool but I liked Red better ( The main character from Red Dead Revolver). Red was more spaghetti western.
I wonder if they will bring back the abnormal enemies for Revolver. Red Dead Redemption was grounded to reality. In Red Dead Revolver, enemies has supernatural abilities.
This whole thing is BS. It's all based on how core Nintendo fans YOU think owned the Wii. You pulled the magical 15 million number out of nowhere.
Not everyone likes digital games. Most people don't.
And they still do pre-order incentives.
Nowadays they don't.
I once bought CoD for a combination of both. CoD actually had a decent campaign mode once upon a time.
These games are a start and will help a lot but we still need more titles.
I'm hoping they give us a Bayonetta 2 release date and a Zelda U confirmation. Some information on X and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem wouldn't hurt either.
I love Nintendo but I hate how they are so secretive about their projects.
