God! Looks like anyone can make a successful mobile game nowadays....
Persona and Shin Megami Tensei aren't really the same series anymore. Persona may be a Shin Megami Tensei spinoff but Atlus has been trying to separate them for years.
Persona is a lot more accessible and easy to get into. The dungeons aren't that complex, and they're not really that hard.
The Shin Megami Tensei games aren't as inviting. They involve more thinking and make you strategize. One wrong move can mean the end of your party.

Huh? They've been remaking games for years now.
Plus, the fans have been asking for Ruby and Sapphire remakes for a while now. It would be stupid to ignore them.
What the hell kind of PS1 were you playing?
If only they advertised Vita games this way.
Some people don't like games that are too hard, I can understand this.
I'm not a big fan of harder games either. Not saying I don't enjoy a challenge every now and then but I mostly play games to get absorbed in the world within and explore what it has to offer. I find it kills my immersion and gets repetitive when I keep failing over and over and have to start something again.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy games like Dark Souls and Demon...
Third parties were asked. Bayonetta is actually owned by Sega and they decided to cancel Bayonetta 2 and let the series die. They did not want to publish another games.
Platinum said it themselves. The game would not exist without Nintendo.
What? When did they take them out?
I haven't played one in years.
What the hell? This has to be a joke.
Their games appeal to a wider audience. Microsoft mainly focuses on the dudebro audience.
@Foxrot
It's overreacting. FF 13 is not the first game in the series to get a novella and it won't be the last.
If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple.
Not everyone shares your opinion of the 13 series and it does have it's followers.
Is it so hard to believe that there are people who are actually looking forward to this feature and would be sad if it was really was removed from their plans?
It's a pretty amazing promise and I'm sure there are tons of people who really look forward to it.
It's a novella. If it bothers you, don't read it. That what I'm going to do.
Talk about overreacting.
It's still pirating.
Not everyone wants to be a pirate.
More misinformation.
First, Monolith Soft is owned by Nintendo, they are a first party studio. Nintendo bought them back in 2007. Xenoblade Chronicles and Disaster: Day of Crisis were both developed by Nintendo.
Second, all of the other titles were developed in cooperation with Nintendo and they all are owned by Nintendo. These are what we call 2nd party games. Nintendo makes a contract with a developer, they pay for development of a new IP, and they publish ...
"Nintendo:
no new IP since Pikmin, took them years to come up with an idea/concept) etc. "
This is another reason why fanboyism thrives. Stop spreading misinformation.
Xenoblade Chronicles
Fossil Fighters
Hotel Dusk
Pandora's Tower
The Last Story
Eternal Darkness
Chibi Robo
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Etc...
All of these are IPs owned by Nintendo and th...
What are you talking about? I'm far from forever alone. Now I can bring my waifus with me when I leave my house.
The word shooter has nothing to do with skill.
A shooter is a game where shooting is one of it's core mechanics, hence the name "shooter".
I'm surprised 3DS is till on top. This year has been a little dry in software but it continues flying off the shelves.
Good to see the WiiU doing decent numbers though.
Just realized this is VGChartz, so these numbers can be way off.
