Well, LG isn't getting involved in the game industry.
What they plan on doing is making deals with developers, like Ubisoft, and having them stream games to their smart TVs.
It's nothing but a cloud based gaming service.
It's going to be something when we can reach photo realistic graphics.

I'm not the type of person to blame all of the industry's problems on Pirates but they are part of the problem.

But some do it just to squeeze your wallets.

Both apply to me and I don't really care that much about graphics. Do I like when a game has nice visuals? Sure! But that isn't going to make or break the game for me or make me wait 6 months for a port when I can buy it now.

Actually, there would be video games without TVs. You seem to forget that video games didn't start on TVs. They started on these things we called ARCADE MACHINES( and computers). A lot of early console games were just ports from the arcade (and computers).
Plus, we also have handhelds.
