It looks the same. Not a bad thing at all. I knew the WiiU wasn't going for next gen graphics but a different way to play instead.

Your beloved bf3 game prides itself for using real lighting effects but at the same time they slap a blue tint over everything.
I'll be buying a WiiU to play ZombieU, I like the concept and gameplay looks intriguing. However it looks like the worst of this gen.
I would compare ZombiU's graphics to COD2 on xbox 360 when it launched. It's just not there yet, give it a few years and devs will be able to get more out of the hardware like always.
Nonetheless I'm in it for the gameplay! Can't wait to play it.
MS was selling consoles at a huge loss at launch. Google it. They can afford to put expensive hardware in there and make up for it with accessory, service, and game royalty sales.
Hardware eventually gets cheaper and they sell at a profit after a while. I'm not saying it will have a 16 core processor with a 7970 but instead it's possible it would have unreasonably powerful hardware for it's price point.

Agreed. I love the gears games but the writing/story left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't classify him as a "high profile writer" like this article does.

Download a ps2 or xbox 1 emulator just to see how bad emulation is with relatively new systems. The PC hardware required to emulate relatively new systems is extreme. The average person won't be able to do it, you will get better stability on gaming pcs but it still won't be perfect.
It's only a matter of time before they get a cease and desist letter. It's happened before in fan remakes unfortunately.

In my opinion while it's a nice idea and I love innovation and the modding community, it may be a waste of time. They should work on new IP if anything.
