It is too late to go subscription. People already are hesitent to upgrade because what they have works. Companies included. Not to mention osx and linux are free. That said I think they will do it because they have been backwards thinkers as of late.

I have both and picked up a wiiu for my son as a Christmas gift. You should consider getting a ps4 at some point, there are some good exclusives on it and more to come. I admit though MS has the better games right now, I rarely touch my ps4 but its nice to have options.
I'm not the one who down voted you but what about newer games patching the os and thus removing the vulnerability? Its a possibility, the Wii had a few games that did this.
