Well it's all down to personal preference! But saying PC is dead is just plain stupid. While I do like to game on my xbox I prefer to have 64 players rather than 24 :P
And at the moment consoles are getting quite dated in terms of hardware.

lol PC FPS isnt dead, make a guess why BF3 has 64 players! FPS is best played on the PC.
I would say BF3 is day two (and look at reviews how the game really is) and skyrim later for GOTY with all the DLC goodies. More value for your money.

If they manage to fix the major glitches and it turns out into a amazing game (which so far its been pretty fun, although slightly annoying at times with screen tearing especially). It might hurt a little bit for the first week of sales, but in the long term I think it will sell very well. (IF GLITCHES ARE FIXED and its not too rushed.)
Nice. While I have nothing against the playstation itself. I can't stand the controller, because when i use the analog sticks it feels weird and uncomfortable. But I'm just used to the xbox controller.
I think it's good that there's more variety in the controllers rather than the standard controller that comes with the console (they should do this with all consoles).

I never really cared about graphics. Neither did I brag about how bf3 would have 'awesome' graphics either. If you play for the graphics, ur a dumbass. In bf3, or atleast bf2 was more of a strategical game and one of the few games I've enjoyed for a long period of time. Yeah! Battlefield is all about tanks, jets, heli's boats, cars. The combination shows the game at its brightest.
Although I'm having quite a blast on the 360, runnin' nd gunnin' around, although another map would be nice.
Man, I've been playing the BF3 beta and so far, I've had a BLAST! IF the bugs are fixed it could turn into something awesome! And graphics wise I don't care. Gameplay is the most important! :)
BF3 and skyrim are the only games I'm looking forward to/buying
EDIT: AND they need to fix their frigging servers. (But they probably will in the final game, still annoying as hell)

I love BF3! Although I just hate sucking at it. I used to play bf2 so much back in the day. Havent played it in a while. And i can tell. I'm running around like a headless chicken getting shot from everywhere shooting like a madman like its cod. sucks they decided to leave out the commander :/

Everyone is playing the BF3 beta
No of course no one is 'forced' to buy it. But considering the map pack was supposed to be made for the fans its more of a slap in the face rather than something for the fans. Why not give it for free (or atleast cheaper than 15 euros!) if 4 of the maps are just remakes?

it's probably to get everyone to test Metro first, then if they wanted to (probably half way through in the beta) they'll unlock it for everyone
