I'm pretty sure most xbox or ps3 exclusives have gotten more positive reviews than the Wii's exclusives.

There cannot be a nummerical value to a review. Because like what you said, it's different for all people. I believe a 9 and upwards should be reserved to the Best of the best. And i'm talking about a game that is close to perfection. Look at test results, if you get a 10/10 on your test, it means you barely fucked up, and everything is just simply amazing what you wrote.
That's why reviews should be focused on the actual written work, rather than gamers just skip...

It's their job, its a AAA title and they still fuck it up? What's up with that? Fallout 3 and NV AND Oblivion all froze on me too. On the Xbox. And NV was buggy as hell. Terrible. I think it's cuz IGN started giving out really high scores to games. (I think the 10/10 that were given out for some games were from IGN) Then if other critics gave a 8 for a game that was pretty good, but just didn't have it get completely destroyed with comments because the score wasn't high enough. And then bla bla bla conspiracy the reviewer got paid to give a low score bla bla.
BUT imo it doesnt deserve the high rating it got from most of the critics either (: It's a good game, but if you recycle most stuff from MW2 it should get a lower grade. Hence many other games get 'penalty' points if they would do the same.
