Exclusives are what separates consoles from each other and entices people to buy them. Sadly, Nintendo have been pulling from their same stable of exclusives for numerous years and the well has ran dry from disappointing sales of big marquee titles like Wind Waker, Metroid Other M, etc. Nintendo has to step it up for this next generation because trotting out up-rezzed ports of PS3/360 games won't get them anywhere fast.
until next year when the PS4/720 comes out. ;)
Good for the Nintendo fans to get Bayonetta 2 but I can guarantee you that this game will flop by being an exclusive on Wii U. Even when Bayonetta 1 was multi-platform the game barely crawled to 1.5 million so I seriously doubt the game will do that by itself on a brand new console people will have to spend $300 to play.
That's great because Sony is now hitting the period of their sales strategy where they are catering to the family and casuals before they hit the next generation with PS4. This allows the PS3 to be sold under the magical price point ($200)and get more PS3s into more households. If Sony can advertise Wonderbook and PSASBR to the masses, it'll do fine. I also expect MS to pull a similar move with the Xbox 360.
I never said that the beta was online at the moment Tonester. I've been in since the private beta invites were sent out so put that in your pipe and smoke it.
It's amazing. O.O
Having a preferred company you like and buying their products is a part of life. Everyone does it. It's when you take this like and grow obnoxious with it to the point where the company can do no wrong and you are defending them like they were your own mother, then there is a problem. Myself? I'm a pretty staunchy Sony fanboy but at the same time I own a Xbox 360, Wii, DS Lite, 3DS, etc. I might like Sony as a company more but I like games in general more than a brand loyalty.
"I got a friend of a friend whose fathers brothers sisters cousins former roommate said only male pedophiles watch cartoons designed for 8 year old girls.... Must be a fact or they wouldnt have said it... "
Yeah I've already reported you to mods for being a hateful little boy. Argue your points like an adult or don't post at all.
A user on NeoGAF was able to give his experiences and he basically said don't believe the hype.
Brought this up in another article. Nintendo should be focusing on making exclusive games that take advantage of the Wii U's strengths instead of trying to muscle in on the HD Twins territory where they will fail.
Irrelevant site.
Another port instead of an original game for the Wii U!
Which is why I said the generation is over. Of course, you'll still have shills like Dark360 and EvilDead360 tell you that Xbox is leading in sales (only in America) where it's been outsold by the PS3 and Wii everywhere else. Of course, that only happens when you only have one console instead of all 3 like me. :)
Yet you got the Xbox fanboys celebrating that the 360 sold less than 200k units in August. Pathetic. The generation is over and it won't get exciting again until the next PS4/720 comes out.
Anyone saying these are good numbers are delusional. These are by far the worst August numbers for Xbox 360 since the generation started. The Microsoft fanboys are so blind they don't realize that that overall % of console and hardware sales have dropped 20% YoY. The generation is over gentlemen. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and look at the facts instead of being rampant fanboys.
I have a i7-960 and a 560 Ti. I think GW2 will run smoothly.
are the reason why the game is such a crappy port? LOL Troll harder kid.
In the first 2-4 hours of playing a game, you should be able to discern whether or not this game is enjoyable or a slog. 30 hours? Just like Danger said, if you are up to 30 hours and still are questioning whether the game is fun or not, here's a protip: it's not.
you realize Sony is a Japanese company right?
No. The only game I could possibly be somewhat excited for is Bayonetta 2 but I don't want to play that on the GamePad or use the janky looking Pro controller that looks like a 360 pad. Maybe after E3 next year when they announce more games but not right now and definitely not for $300.
