And with this, Tecmo Koei has officially jumped the shark with the title. C'mon really? A gravure video? Well... this is for Japan only so far.... but even I think that's a little much.
Still find it pretty funny that the male costume pack always has double the amount of character costumes compared to the female pack for the same price. They really know their target audience.
At least this Hunter mode seems pretty interesting and sees them trying to step outside the box with their multiplayer options. Crysis 2's multiplayer was terribly boring for me.
Glad to see that the game still pretty much feels the same as the other game's in the series and I'm liking the idea of couch co-op. No need to worry about a shoddy internet connection causing me to lose my online co-op partner.
Yes.... yes... yes!
Well, toning down the excitement a bit, it would be excellent if they were to even release this as a digital download for the PSP in some way. Hell, make it available on the Vita right away and you have a lot of sales solidified probably.
Those characters in the game have to be some of the creepiest looking anthro type characters I've seen in a very long time...
I absolutely adored this game back when it was on the PlayStation 2 and now that it is on the PlayStation Vita it has quickly become my most played game on the system and probably one of the main reasons that someone should actually buy a Vita.
It is one of the great classics, but I won't be picking it up again I'm afraid. I sunk a lot of time into the original and burnt myself out on it pretty bad, which means that I have no desire to see what little improvements they made even if the game was only $5, let alone $20.
There have been three of these now? Even the second one was abyssal with the way it used the Kinect, I doubt the "Wii U" version is any better.
This is actually a thing? The screenshots look like a game that some fans put together back in the '90s so they could beat Tails up with Knuckles. I only recognize three of the four fighters in that roster select image... pathetic.
I agree with the guy for saying that the pausing to gather health or fix up broken limbs just breaks the entire pace of the game. Sure it may be a bit more realistic but personally I would rather be able to experience the game at a proper pace than have to worry about searching for health every five minutes or navigating menus simply to use an item.
Regenerating Health may make for an easier game but it also means that just as many people will be able to enjoy the title. Sure there are a few people such as yourself which obviously "hate" regenerating HP but the vast majority of gamers appreciate that aspect and it is how gaming is now. Not buying a game just because the survival aspects are lower is a pretty ridiculous reason given the fact that everything else looks absolutely amazing.
Meh, I couldn't agree with this. Sure there are always people out there who are going to be misogynistic and complain about girls in gaming but ultimately it doesn't matter. They are no different from us and there are also just as many girls who go out of there way to force it down people's throats that they are a girl who also plays games.
As for how games represent women, I say let there be fan service galore personally. It shouldn't bother anyone and it hur...
My question is, is this better than Wii Sports which was bundled with the Wii when it was released? Seems like it simply because of all of the Nintendo worlds but I'm still curious.
Guy gives a nice in-depth look at some of the features this thing has, some I didn't even know about. Though I still am on the fence about picking one since only two of the launch titles are good looking to me, Zombie U and New Super Mario Bros 2, most of the others are just ports with one or two new features.
While violence doesn't make a game good, the easiest reference the guy uses is the latest Medal of Honor title which lets face it, was absolutely terrible in almost every aspect. Along those lines there are also a number of games which feature no violence whatsoever but also become absolutely boring experiences for the sake of "art." For every great game that features no violence there are also great games that are steeped in violence. Dead Space for example is a very brutal gam...
Which is really a shame. They could have at least put some effort into this thing to try and make some people happy, instead they made what is basically shovelware with a nostalgic name on it.
I'm going to have to agree with you there. Unless I was a huge Black Ops fan, that controller is a major eye sore.
Well, there goes the chance of this getting released overseas. I'm sure that it would be easy to localize unless there is some major story to go along with the monster girl stripping, but I have a feeling no one will jump at it.
Well, if the basic fighting is still the same as Dead or Alive 5 on the consoles then the balance is pretty set. As for the first-person fighting that is nothing but pure fan service so it seems like they are just going all out with this version.
