Just let the franchise die with some dignity Capcom - you dam well know that RE5 and 6 are not real RESIDENT EVIL but your just using the name to sell more copies...lets be honest here if RE 5 and 6 were new ip's and were named " Zombie Gun Down" the games would not even break even.

Alot of people blaming the developers but fail to realise that the reason why games on consoles are restricted is because the lack of RAM and 6 year old hardware.
Little things like
1.real time audio
2. Dropping items in one area and coming back 3 hours later to still find it.
3. In-depth look into main character life
4. Real time whether and time cycle
5. Giving NPC's unique (I took an arrow to knee) dialogues and personalty.
Lets hope its not as disappointing as Douche Ex Human Revo...The alternate routes you could take were a big let down.

Why would we hate on anything RE when we grew up on RE and is edged in our memories? If anything we want the RE franchise to succeed and a continue forever.
I wont go into the reasons why RE5 and 6 are so disappointing because everyone has there on judgement and I respect your...happy for you that you enjoy the game and hope you support the RE franchise as much as I did.
Have to agree, when I was playing the demo I felt like I was playing so many other different games but not RE.
I really wanted this game to succeed and go back to its roots because RE is part of my childhood memories but Capcom has took those memories and burned them.
I guess the saying great things do not last forever so enjoy them while you can is so true :(

Amen to that...some 13 year old kid will soon reply to you and tell you to get over your NOSTALGIA and that RE 5 an 6 were the best in the series becasue of the shooting and explosions.
