@GribbleGinger - No one was saying that they PS3 was not worth the price becuase the tech that it had inside was more than worth it at the time - hardcore PS2 gamers were complaining becuase they could not afford a $600 console.
Can you imagine being a diehard Sony fan and playing awesome games on the PS2 only for Sony to bring out the PS3 and tell you to get two jobs to afford one.
I never bought an original Xbox and had no plans in purchasing the 360 b...

These guys need to stop hateing and create something as EPIC as Gears before the start calling people out.
I do not agree with this statement becuase we all say things like that when we live on a middle class income but as soon as we win the lottery or get rich some how our spending habbits and life style changes.
These guys have not made millions for them to say that they wont buy an expensive car or mansion becuase they never had that type of money to actually not do it.

I was pissed that Capcom cancelled Mega Man but now after seeing how they are rapeing one of my favorite franchise I am glad that Mega Man went out with some dignity.

Well said...can not wait to play this with the wife and kids - we do not get many games where the entire family can play and enjoy, my wife is not an avid gamer but if there is one game she loves is anything side scrolling Mario.

I would not go as far as to say that it was terrible just did not live up to the UC2 expectations.
To be fair the entire Naughty Dog was not working on UC3 as the team was split into 2 and some of the UC developers were/are working on TLOU.
UN2 is hands down my favorite game this gen and hope that TLOU surpasses UC2.

You answered your own question...people expect the next game for a great game to be even greater. Uncharted 3 felt like someone gave me a Ferrari Enzo for my bday and the following year they gave me a Camaro :(
Edit: UC3 was great but you have to admit that playing it felt like a downer after playing UC2...not say...
Can not blame the man for saying that...UC 3 was good but no where near the awesomeness that was UC2.
I think ND put there self in a corner by making UC2 so EPIC.
