the sad thing is when dragon age ii came out i was stupid excited but then after playing it bioware came down a bit in my boook mass effect 3 comes out im stupid excited but again after the ending bioware came down a bit for me again. There is a bad pattern here!

I play elder scroll games because i dont want to play online seems like most people i know playing there games have a simlar way of thinking.
all of my top 15 or so favorite games current get & even all time are all open world games. The only two games i have ever had that overwhelming fealing in were oblivion & skyrim i have no idea why i didnt get that overwhelming fealing in either fallout 3 or nv but it wasnt there. Having said that though that fealining in no way shape or form caused me to dislike either games quite the contrary i have spent more time on oblivion & skyrim that any other games this gen i absolutelty...
I agree with much of the article. My biggest put off was the walled off sections of the maps. I was so anoyed at this that it really soured my view of the game. I would also like to add i really was not happy with not being able to change my teams armor which is the same in ME3 i want to be able to control all that. Make the game more open & actually take your time & i will love a DA3!
I have to agree with you, i would also like to add my newphew is a great case in point also loved his wii has grown up some & now has no interest in anything nintendo. I have viewed nintendo for years as the kiddy version of consoles but the age range of Kiddie keeps getting smaller. Ps3/xbox360 starts to become the cool system around ge 8-10. People can disagree with me all they want but serisouly talk to a boy around 8-10 & ask them what system they have/like i would say its easily ...
Dont know about most people but i play games like Skyrim because it is a MMO without the M or the the O i have no interest in playing online. I love my Huge open world SINGLE player games. Thanks but no thanks bethesda!
i like them simply for the point that i can see where people are in games they are playing that ive played.
my wife liked la noir it was actually fun, she liked the interviews the most. The only game my wife has ever taken the controller & enjoyed are GTA type games & just going nuts. Its always fun to watch when she plays but for the most part other than that she couldnt care less about other games!
I would assume this article was written by someone in someway affiliated with microsoft. There isnt a single reason why a discless xbox would be good for the consumer!
Spoiler Alert....Dom made me cry, i had to pause the game for a good few minutes before i could go on killing the bastards that were responsible, thinking about it when you found Maria in GOW2 i got chocked up, but Dom dying made me loose it!
oh yea im there with you on that, its really anoying running around the citadel & the game freezes for a second or two & you get a loading screen its really anoying. The texture pop ins while better than previous mass effects are still there & really anoying, but ive kinda come to expect that in mass effects lol
i love how these things come out with sales record this month followed by bleak outlook gaming is over next month, these things go in a cycle. Look at overall year sales to get a real understanding then you have to also take into consideration people understand that next gen is right around the corner. The article even says wii sales are down no shit wii sales are down the wii u is comming out soon no one is stupid enough to buy a system that is on the way out.

Ill admit im not through it yet, im 20 hours in & have a few missions to go so cant comment on the ending yet. BUT one missoin that serisouly needs to be patched is the damn citadel mission where you have to go to the terminals. I cannot get the damn things to allow me to intereact with them. Not game ending or anything but serisouly Bioware fix your shit!
in a way i do that now. I have gamefly i know every month im going to pay them $24.56 & i am going to get to play whatever i want. I wouldnt be a fan of paying each publisher since they get your money no matter what they dont have to realase aaa games. I wouldnt mind having a subscription price to say microsoft or sony at like $20 a month. In fact i would be all for that.
This has me with mixed emotions. Think about it if walmart bought them out they could set up game stores in uk & us & start to really move some used games. The publishers are already pissed at gamestop but imagine if walmart got involved used game sales would grow exponentially larger. This worries me that pubslishers really will push next gen to have no used games somehow. I played both Duke Nukon & Destory All Humans. DAH graphics were the worst ive seen this gen & the gameplay was the same as the last ones but i loved DAH for the ps2 so i stuck with it & its actually fun at some parts!
