very true but the only picture we have so far shows the assasin with a tomahock in his right hand & a pistol in his left. If the first picture we see shows a pistol im just assuming gunplay is going to be much more prevelent.
while uncharted is an amazing series no argument from me, doing so would eliminate the open world aspect of the game. You want to see how well thats done for games before see Red Faction. It littereally killed the game & will never be made again. Please stay away from removing sand box ubisoft!
The more i think about this i am worried they are going to this into a TPS with your hidden blade as a mele weapon. As much as i love uncharted & so many TPS games the reason i love AC is its a sandbox where a gun isnt your main weapon there is almost no other games like that right now!
AC is my favorite series & i am very excited....and a little nervous. What i am the most nervous about is look at his left hand there is a pistol. What i dont want AC to turn into is a TPS with your hidden blade as your mele weapon, i love me some TPS but please please please dont turn AC into one!!!!
Even though a lot of people bitch about it, i have to agree with the article. I am not a true achivement/trophy whore but i do enjoy seeing achivos pop up when i do something in a game! Also i can say i stick around playing some games a little longer than i normally would have to get a certain achivement some times :)
im right there with you, im a proud gamefly member for about 1.5 years now. I tell so many people i know who follow there buy a game new, sell it to gamestop & buy the next game that they are all crazy just get gamefly! 126 Games so far with over $4,000 worth of games shipped, simply the best thing i have ever done for my gaming life :)
i belive it is going to happen but not next gen its at least 10 years out imo. Case in point 6 months ago i downloaded DC Universe its a 18gb (i belive) file game it took on my 15mbps internet speed 4.5 hours to download on a saturday at 10:00am months after it had been released. I am a very patient person but if i can drive to my local best buy & be back in 1/2 hour i sure as hell am not waiting all day for a download. Also take into consideration trying to download a game like COD on la...
My biggest concern is they try to put it in amaerican revolution times & try incorporating more guns into the game. AC is my favorite series this gen & i DO NOT want more guns in this series, please!
My god horible idea I could see them trying to incorporate that horible first person platforming into FPS for modern day desmond oh god please ubisoft avoid this at all costs!!!!

for what its worth the only game that makes my ps3 fans go into "hair dryer mode" meaning they go crazy freakin loud after about 20 minutes of playing is God of War 3, first time it happened it scared the crap out of me lol
I know the article said skyrim didnt do that for him, but it sure as hell did for me. I used taht analogy many times skyrim proves time travel is posible because of exactly what the article says you sit down for "10 minutes" & bam 5 hours goes by lol

Im buying AC1 for my nephew. If they were bundling 1 & 2 for $30 i would buy this new the day it hit the shelf. But $40 hell no ill buy used. Serisouly these publishers bitch & moan about used game market, how about selling a 5 year old game for what its worth?
after we found out recently that a patch is $40,000 each. I know cod makes stupid ammount of money but think about it for a second $400,000.00 have been spent on patching this game. What would take the average person a decade to make that kind of money? That is just mind boggling!
