My current guess is its at least 5-10 years away from being a reality. Biggest hurdels are ISP caps which are becoming more & more prevelant, they need to be iradicated & download speeds need to be up to if not over 10x faster than they are now. How much do you get back exactly? I have an old 40gb thats still going strong but it worries me cause the fans kick into high gear more & more frequently. If i could upgrade to a slim & it costs me nothing more than $50 out of pocket i would do it in a heartbeat!

i live by gamefly its the greatest thing ive ever done for my gaming life. Ive currently got The Witcher 2 in my xbox & ill be playing prototype 2 next week. I love gamefly & i know exactly how much money gaming is gonig to cost me $24 per month the price of one used game & i play on average 4 games per month almost half of the games i play are new games i get on release day! Anyone buying games & reselling them or trading in is wasting there money!
thats what ive been saying for awhile piracey would go out of control. Pubslishers claim PC gaming is being ruinied by piracey guess what will happen if they removed used games from consoles same damn thing!
I actually like achivements, but i would NEVER purposfly alter the way i play a game in order to get certain achviements! If i get them whlie playing cool but come on now!
For me reason #1 is i loved prototype 1 & am excited to see where the game goes from there!
I might be the freak here but i value story just as highly as i value gameplay. Case in point i played Back to the Future game on ps3 The graphics were horible, the controls made me want to throw my controller at the tv, but i wanted to see where the story went so i stuck with it. I have stuck through quite a few games stricly for this reason im a sucker for a good story!
