Of course any webcam can do this. Last time I checked, PS MOVE was a completely separate product from the eyetoy. Reread your comment. Your saying a device with no camera can drive any sort of vehicle. Yup, that makes total sense.

Agreed. Have you seen that minority report demo? MS needs to get in touch with those guys since they seem to have done an outstanding job getting kinect to recognize fingers.
Once they release the xna support they promised, theyll be able to see what people have done with kinect and can add it to future firmware updates. Really, kinect can only get better from here.

All this is just for everyone dissapointed by no gears at the VGAs. They dont want non ps3 fans to be dissapointed by no announced exclusives for them.
I think we will definitely see some new announcements for the 360. Frankly if we do, theyd actually be exclusive announcements. I think it was kinda dumb for sony to already have announced their biggest hitter, Uncharted. That would have been a sweet surprise for tonight.

they gave kinect a review of 7.5 and there highest rated kinect game was 8.5 (Dance Central). How is that glorifying kinect?
I have absolutely terrible lighting in my basement but thanks to kinects infrared sensor (i guess thats what does it0 kinect can track me in any condition. Not to sure how it copares to the Eye though.

i think its gonna depend on how well the devs program there software or how close to the screen they want you to play at.
Really cool. I could see some games coming out that really uses this tech.
Also, I think theres an app on The Nintendo DSi that does something similar to this with its camera.

Sounds like you havent played many kinect games. This and most of the third party stuff is absolute crap. But the 1st party stuff is really polished and fun. I consider myself a hardcore gamer and im really surprised with how little lag ive noticed.
The fact that the film is apparently gonna be more "national treasure" and less "tomb raider" alone makes me feel that Wahlberg is the least of our worries for this film.

Have you seen the Wolfenstein thing someone made in lbp2? Absolutely amazing. They could pretty much recreate any game or make their own spectacular one. i cant wait to see how creative people get. (lets go ahead and get the dick levels out of the way early this time too)
