I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer and I'm definitely more excited about the 3DS. Not because of the crappy 3d (3D is stupid to me). Im just more of a fan of nintendo's franchises and how they make games that cater specifically to their handhelds (games I wouldnt mind playing in small bursts when Im away from home).
Nothing Ive seen of the NGP looks like it would be better on a handheld than watching at home on a huge tv.

Its pretty much the same situation though. Nintendo comes out with a handheld with a new gimmick that everyone is skeptical of, while Sony makes a handheld focusing on graphics and bringing console type experiences to handhelds. I'm almost positive it'll have the same results as last-gen sales wise.
Exactly! Everyone these days wants open world in their games for no reason other than to have it. Free roam would completely kill what Remedy was going for with AW.

Sense when is around a million sold a bad thing? That great for a game with such little marketing and emphasis on story rather than action.
Thats why its a beta... So the devs can work out all of the kinks dumbass. Did you really expect them to have mp down perfectly months before the release? Oh and dont forget this is cryteks first MP attemp with cryengine 3 on consoles.

Interesting strategy. Instead of playing cat and mouse with hackers like most other companies, MS is welcoming the idea of Homebrew apps and software. I really cant wait to see what this brings.

says who? Pokemon B/W is coming out in March, Same time the 3DS is coming out. No one said anyone had to stop supporting it. Hell the ps2 still gets a few new games here and there.
500k (or whatever it was last known at) sales for AW really surprised me for the lack of advertising this game got. Not once did I ever see a billboard, Game Stop advertisement, or commercial for it. Microsoft really left AW to die.
Exactly, plus theres a crete your own fighter mode where you can rise through the ranks as your own boxer.
4-8 Hours sounds perfect for a story mode that is only part of why Im getting this game.
