they definitely did to me
all i can say is that the new campaign is the series best. it has a much more smaller scoped plot with wel lthought out action scenes and witty dialogue. Every mission is also designed for coop and replayability. im in love with it and the change in pace focusing on a more character driven story. The lack pf firefight matchmaking is a serious downer though... but it still fun.
id also include the other old map packs at 5 bucks each

anyway i got the game, loved it, and never had a doubt in my mind that it wasnt worth the money. people just have different opinions. Like i personally love firefight and how the (short) campign is designed for replay. i do wish they had matchmaking in firefight though.. i think that has more to due with ODST MP designed around halo 3s campaign and just used matchmaking t recreate the halo 3 MP.
i doubt it considering we have gears of war. everyone would just think of it as a GeOW knockoff (at least more than if it was just on the ps3)

thats a pretty big assumption considering most ps3 gams dont sell to high (that could change wth the release of the slim though), but i dont think a game like gt5 (simulator racers are kinda a niche genre anyway) will sell to much. forza will probably sel about 5 mil though with all the hype and money MS is bound to throw at it. im sure Both will be great games though.
Off topic: how much did GT4 or GT5P sell...that might make my point completely pointless...
halo was a launch title. so yah, there was no xbox before halo. good job! /sarcasm
ill hold judgement on the final release. thats what i said id do with GT5 and im not making an exception for forza. ive thought a lot of demos of games to suck only to find that the actual games looks much and feel better.

the ps3 can with a stand. anyway, if i was MS i would design thewhole thing with a pc interchangeable HDD in mind. just keep the old model HDDs for people who have the original xbox (and of course discount them). oh and the slim must have its own built in wifi or no dice.
why the hell would they do that when they hust started announcing super elite bundles of the normal xboxes? wouldnt they want those to sell well? if we do see a slim itll be next gamescon at the earliest.
i think itll catch up to the xbox 2010. after that, who knows.
