I think a Wii2 is pretty much needed. It's lack of power prevents third party multiplatform development too much.
Nintendo would be stupid not to. Think about all the multi platform games that could have come out for the wii, if it could handle them. When it comes down to it, the thing that sells multiplatform games are whatever it has over the other consoles. Think about MW2 on the wii. Or any other FPS shooter. It's pretty safe to assume that the wiiHD would sell the most copies, because of the superior controlls. That isn't going to be true for much longer now, with all the new motion controlls coming...
It'll be hard for them to top Twilight Princess, I think. I'd prefer that they take as much time as they need on this game, they really need it to be perfect since the wii isn't exactly in good shape.

Well, I think the commercial could have been better. I believe that showing the human weapons would have gotten more intrest, maybe. Also, it really isn't hard to pirate wii games. If I had a modded wii and a DVD burner, I would have no reason to buy games anymore.

Nintendo has nothing to gain by denying the Wii HD; in fact, they lose people's confidence. I already have almost no confidence in them anymore. Nintendo is miles behind the computation in several ways, and some of their shortcomings could be easily fixed. Nintendo doesn't care about competing with Sony and Microsoft's standards, so we're stuck with a lackluster system with lackluster features.
