I'd love Dreamcast graphics instead of this new look. Would have been a bold move. Shenmue is one of my favourite game ever and so far, Shenmue 3 looks very weird, something feels off.
How about the fact that half of those 8 games are releasing on PS4? This has to be one of the weakest "exclusive" line-up in console history.
actually you can buy several new games with $50.
3 years is very short for a project that ambitious. I'd be surprised if it releases in 2019. 2020 is a safer bet.
@chiefJohn117 If I may ask, what is your top 10 games of all times? I'm curious.
My #1 issue with Cuphead is that it's not on PS4.
I played it on PC. The game is fine. In fact, easely one of the best games of 2017. Difficulty is perfectly tuned, Easy mode is great for people who needs it, Co-op is fun, level design is solid, and I've never had any glitch. Stupid article.
It's live action and it will be based on the books.
my bad, i thought you were talking about syphon filter for some reason...
splinter cell was hinted last year? thats news to me. any link?
done here. go persona 5!
Which documentary are you talking about? Is it on youtube?
There is a fan translation for Mother 3, from what I heard it is top quality.
Mother 4 is an unofficial fan-game supposedly releasing sometime soon. It looks very promising and true to the series.

They didnt delete the backgrounds. Some guy managed to grab some of the orginal from Square and they look simply stunning. Check it out:

They did a good job and every aspect of the 3D part of the game (character models, battle zones) as well as updating the resolution for the cutscenes, but the super low resolution 2D backgrounds really hurt the exp...
Yeah, I know about Mizzurna Falls. It's a shame it never came to the West, I'm sure it would be a cult classic right now. Was it made by the team who created Silent Hill?
I believe some people are working on a translation here:

Anyway, even though the 2 games share a lot of game design ideas, they are clearly not on the same scale when it comes ...
Shenmue was not only about wandering around in a big environment. It had time passing by, (days and even seasons!) with specific events tied to it. If the person you wanted to visit wasnt home, you had to come back later and try again. Shops had opening and closing hours. You could be late at work and miss on the money. The now often mocked QTE type of gameplay was new and fresh back then, keeping the player involved at every corner of the beautiful little town. It was a mix of adventure and ...
Remakes are great and make a lot of sense in the video game field. While in movies, remakes are often just an excuse to cash in on a classic, remaking games allows players to play something they skipped without having to deal with the technical limitations of the initial release of said game. That is if the remake is done right of course, and Yakuza Kiwami seems to be a perfect exemple of a remake done right.
Bring us the game and wipe away the debt.
Where is Yakuza Kiwami? Everybody's Golf? Hidden Agenda? Eitr? Hob?
Also, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Matterfall, Undertale and Nidhogg 2 have been released in the last couple of weeks.
Xbox E3 2014:
-Fable Legends announced (game cancelled)
-Phantom Dust full remake announced (cancelled, port of the original Xbox game instead)
-Scalebound announced (cancelled)
-Crackdown announced (still not released)
-Below announced (still not released)
They also tried to pass Rise of The Tomb Raider as an Xbox One exclusive which created controversy.
Oh yeah Xbox E3 2014 was good alright.
