It's a disease you get when you play too many EA games, money starts farting out of your wallet.
early access and actual release are 2 different things.
@starchild
Stating that you dont care if a game is exclusive or not means that multiplatform games are just as important to you as exclusive games.
I believe Media Molecule also approached Microsoft with LittleBigPlanet back then, which MS turned down, and Sony then picked it up.
She's gorgeous, that guy did an incredible job. I wonder how she's gonna look in the remake.
It's the "uniqueness" factor that sets them apart IMO. The Last Guardian, even though is not perfect, offers an experience like no other game, which I value a lot. Horizon is a step up for GG and a great new IP but it felt a little too generic to make it in my top 5.
Yakuza 0 would be my number 6, then Horizon.
1. God of War
2. Persona 5
3. Uncharted 4
4. Bloodborne
5. The Last Guardian
They were bitter the PS2 was doing so well. Thank god they're over it. The Yakuza series is awesome and I'm glad the Shenmue remaster is finally happening!
The original Tomb Raider came out in 1996. It was one of the first 3D game with a camera placed behind the charatacer, and it had a dedicated button to control the camera so you could check your surroundings better and plan your next move.
If we're talking over-the-shoulder aiming/firing, Freedom Fighter had one (PC game, 2003). I dont know if it's the first though. https://www.youtube.com/wat....
You can add:
Concrete Genie
Medievil Remastered
Wild (might be 2019 though)
@Chevalier You can add Yakuza 6, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Concrete Genie and Medievil Remastered (not sure if those last two are 2018 release though)
The Xbox One is the greatest console of all times, if you dont care about all the other consoles that have ever released.
If Sony is a can of Coke, MS is a glass of sand.
To be honest, 68 is still way too high for a game with such poor content.
Sony has never done a remake of a PS1 era title, which is the topic here. If they had a studio dedicated to recreate some gems from that time, they would have so many game to choose from. The PS1 catalog is a gold mine.
Medievil is Sony's 1st remake of a PS1 game.
List of PS1 era remake (released or announced):
Crash Trilogy
Spyro Trilogy
Resident Evil (originally remade for the gamecube)
Resident Evil 2 (announced)...
If I could have chosen any studio to develop a Spider-Man game, I would have picked Insomniac. This whole thing is perfect.
Nice thumbnail.
I did, because they are part of the same franchise and they were all amazing games, not just 1 great game and crappy sequels. Even though people have their preferences over which FF they prefer 7, 8 and 9 were amazing JRPG. Same thing for Crash and Spyro, the whole trilogy was great, even the kart game was awesome.
If I absolutely had to pick it'd be: FF7, Crash 1 and Spyro 2.
PS1 has so many great games, a top 3 is not enough.
