Question to those who disagree with Outlast being one of 2014's best next generation console games? What games are better? Games that you have actually played on next gen. Games that are available NOW!
I expect to see Infamous Second Son, but what other game available on next gen isn't anything other than hype?
I'm leery about this game, but i'll give it a try. The last time I didn't trust my instincts I ended up spending money on the warm bag of poo that was Daylight. If my instincts end up being right, i'll never doubt them again.
One of 2014's best games.
Only games i'm looking for are Natural Doctrine, Drive Club, Pavilion, Drifter, and of course, The Last Of Us Remastered.

The rest of the games i've played are highly repetitive and are seriously lacking in gameplay mechanics and a story.

These articles are getting old. Talk about the games. Reaching into an empty bucket and pulling out a dead horse that's been beaten already is pretty lazy. Again, debate the quality of the games that are coming. That's alot more interesting.

Watch Dogs, Titanfall, Thief, Amazing Spiderman 2, Metal Gear Solid GZ. Can't think of any others for this generation.
Funny thing about this exclusivity argument. Microsoft has been doing it since this console cycle began and there hasn't been a problem. As soon as Sony gets exclusive content with Destiny that Microsoft won't see for a year all of a sudden this a problem worthy of several gaming articles? Can you say butthurt and completely transparent?
I can't believe this guy cited an article that uses a facebook poll to judge the popularity of gaming consoles. I guess facts and actual data doesn't matter any more when writing stories.
It was only free for the month of February. It was 19.99 after that. The game was selling after February and is still selling now. It is one of 2014's best games available on consoles. That much you will never be able to deny.

You and I are seeing to completely different things. Perhaps you've convinced yourself that the graphics in Infamous are shitty so you can justify posting this nonsense. Even in a real time photo, the further one looks from the source or center of the photo, the blurrier the photo gets.
There's a difference between console owners and console fan boys. Owners understand that neither Sony or Microsoft are in this business to be your "buddy," while the fan boys will defend their chosen console to the point of getting red in the face from shouting out their version of the truth. This console cycle has just started. No one has even seen more than 50% of what these machines can do. Infamous second son has only scratched the surface. I think there's a lot more to come. I took these with photo share.

Why would a developer make a sequel to an average game? How about coming up with a new idea, take the things that worked with the mediocre game and create a new game with the successful elements integrated into it?
