We already knew this, it's logical. But that's not why people are complaining. Of course you won't have to pay a fee, because you already bought the game from a retailer who works with MS so they already got their 'fee'. What people are mainly complaining about is that the used games might get more expensive, but especially about something else; they want to swap games with some friends from time to time and that won't work so easily.
This is definately not the unveil you want as a games developer. They do not have a reason to make a game for Xbox One or to consider it, whereas on the PS4 developers get a lot of support, especially indies. From slef-publishing over lower to no fees for patches and help during development form first party studios (like Santa Monica Studios that was always working with idnies) to a promotion of the game on the store and other places and the possibility to be part of PS+. It's a much safe...
Who knows. The relationship between Sony and Google is a pretty good one and maybe they just wanted to jump on the troll train. We know Google loves stuff like this.
I am really excited what we will see tomorrow at the Champions League final. Advertising boards for PS4 for sure, but some rumours even say we'll see a commercial during the halftime break. Who know, but it would be a perfect opportunity for Sony to promote the PS4 and reach millions of viewers around the world and especially in Europe.
Btw, Bayern ftw ;)
Well, I'm on here for quite some time now and used to be a long time lurker before and after I made an account and I've seen many dramas and funny stuff come and go here. But seriously, even after horrible E3 press conferences and console releases and games that were shown I hvae never seen anything like this. Not on here, not on pretty much any other gaming website or any social media website (about something in the gaming industry).
Coming here and cheking the artic...
@maxgamehard and probably @THE-COMMANDER
That video is awesome, but this one is freaking amazing as well. It made me laugh so hard, just amazingly funny:

As much as I'd like the rumour to be true, it's pretty much busted. I understand why it seems like it, but if you keep watching you'll come to realize that he's not using a remote. Later when he says "trending" and "Xbox go home" his hand are out.
And tbh, just think about it, why would they give HIM the control to do that?! That would be risky and people might find it out. The entire show is being directed and it would be so much easier to...
Just the two videos playing right next to each other...
See I do not have a problem with comparisons, but they should be done better, for example paying attention to certain things like lighting, faces, physics, shaders, distance textures, etc.. But this is just a video with both games next to each other focusing on NOTHING. Bad video that makes no sense to me. Definately a WTF? rating.
@ PurpHerbison Sony told him to. Remember the slogan for the PS4 reveal in Fabruary? That's your answer sir.
But the future of gaming is freaking gaming!!! We are here on N4G not because we like entertainment, we are here because we like a specific form of it, gaming. And for us a console is only worth it if it is a good machine to play videogames on in the first place. For all that entertainment stuff people have cimputers, laptops, smartphones, tablets and, btw MS, looks like you forgot about this one, smart TVs.
MS even said (paraphrasing here) that the TV is the centre of the li...
*cough* Including filehosters ...
That's why it's called 'One'. Of course one reason is that it wants to be the 'one' thing that all entertainment devices in your living room are connected to, but also because it's a new start for Xbox and an Xbox for an all new audience. Xbox One marks the begining of the Xbox brand as an entertainment brand rather that the previous gaming brand it used to be.
I'm glad everyone realised it so quickly and that most people on here are very voca...
As usual, mainstream media doesn't know anything at all. Where did they look for actual feedback?! Not on the internet I guess. They've probably been asking MS... or got paid by them. I'm definately part of the 20%!!!
What creeps me out is the sentence he says at 3:12: "And it's definately always listening to you [...]." That's a creepy thought that Microsoft COULD theoretically collect data and whatnot because of what you say. If you use the term "football" a lot they could give you ads focused on that, but they could do so many worse things with that and spy you :/.
Sure my PC has a mic too, but that is not "always listening", only when I want to, bu...
I think they explained it like this. If Snoo can bring the game over to his friend Soon's house and they can play together on Snoo's account (probably by using a guest account feature or something. But if Soon wants to play the game on his account, he would have to buy a license (full price if the game is recent).
Personal addition: Snoo could also just create an account on Soon console, but he'd probably not be able to use his account if the account is already lo...
I just figured out why you need to install games and I was already suprised when they said they'd use a Blu-Ray drive and did not go into detail on the disc. I already expected this way around an important thing to note.
So, who did actually develop the Blu-Ray? - It was the BDA and in particula the BDF (Founders): Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Thomson, LG Electronics, Hitachi, Sharp, and Samsung.
So Sony is a founder and co-developed the format. And...
Funny guy. He did totally not forget who he used to work with.
And competing with Apple, Google and Samsung ... Peter does know that Sony does not just make the PlayStation, but also TVs, PCs, tablets and smartphones (that use Andorid which has been co-developed by Sony as part of the OHA), that they are part of the BDA and also run movie and music subsidiaries and their own streaming services. Tbh, when it comes to entertainment, MS, as more of a software and tech company, h...
Saw it on German TV and I actually expected to see a bit more since Gran Turismo/Sony is a big sponsor for the event and have tons of ads along the track and on the cars for (just) Gran Turismo.
Btw, it was also broadcasted in HD (1080i). I'm wondering if anyone recorded that and will upload it soon.
I'm actually pretty happy that it's so bad. As the aithor in the article said, perhaps now they will go back to Sony and let them buy them. I hated the FUSE demo after the intro and the first few minutes already, but just played it to the end. But that game does not represent what Insomniac is capable of at all. The deal with EA and going multiplatform was a fail, and I'm sure they know that too.
The Xbox and the iPhone would transform and start fighting... obviously!!
