If Mario 3D world and windwaker didnt save it, i dont think Rayman would have made much difference :(
Yea the first half was strong, then it lost me
My clock was between 3-4 hours but everyone takes that game differently

I see what you are saying about repetitiveness and thats fine but for a 3ish hour game to feel repetitive is a bit of a let down imo.
The objectives and obvious time padding are the worst, turn on 2 valves etc and one bit towards the end really pee'd me off in this regard
'One of the Scariest games of all time' is a bit far for this one personally. The atmosphere is creepy at the start and add to the first few jump scares but it becomes soo tedious and predictable that it lost any horror aspect for me
But horror takes players differently, so theres alot of opinions about it :D

Not nit picking, im just not keen on the a.i. At all, would rather not have then. Is there going to be game modes with just human players?
I understand where you are coming from, about them being trash mobs etc which i suppose makes sense for the way they act. The demo gave a decent insight in to what the game is and it certainly is fun, i hope it has lasting appeal too! It can be had for roughly £25 so may be worth a shot at that price, busy month!
I dont know about that but it will certainly be part of the discussions come that time of the year, multiplayer game of the year most likely, but overall goty i think theres much better stuff in the pipeline like witcher for example
Will the creatures just stand on street corners in groups of 4 and barely function like the a.i. In the beta?

Ill agree with this as its what im doing now! Completed dark twice over last few months so thought i would give demon souls another try and im flying through it compared to dark souls
Partially as im a royal and it sort of breaks the game but want to finish it atleast once before dark souls 2 hits

I agree with the chap above the stigma around these being soo hard is a bit off, they are challenging, sure, but spend some time and the feel of playing this series becomes second nature, until you hit a new area :P
Either way for a 5yr old this is fab, and im happy theres no 'why are you letting your child play this blah blah'

Ive gone royal on demkn souls just to get through it for ds2, it makes the game rather easy but i already want to replay it as a melee style :)
I gave up when it came out just due to another game and i had only borrowed this off a mate. Then late last year i picked it up for myself on ps3 and pushed through and ut became 5hr bedt game of the gen for me! First play took 50 hours as a messy mash up of stats melee character
Then i brought it on pc and just completed it at 18ish hours including the dlc
The game isnt as hard as its made out to br, you just have to learn it and now it feels kind of like ri...
I would even accept a touched up demon souls 1 in full 1080 on ps4, but a new game would be even better :P
