Console already has low level API for years, DX 12 does this for the pc... you won't see massive improvement console wise.
12 hours?
You mean 6-7 don't you...

Looks fantastic!
Shitty film grain, check

Nothing going on, check
Low resolution, check
No details in the screen, check
bad texture filtering, check
Honestly, I would still love t see a miracle happen and a pc release. It would be so much better then on a shitty ps4.
1440p, 60 fps glorry.
It can't render most games at 1080p and 60 fps witch pc has been doing since 2008. It also has a weak ass cpu made for laptops...
You are welcome to game on pc.
Frankly this debate is just stupid, if you want high IQ, res and framerate the only possible place to play is on the pc, been on 1440p for two years and it's just fantastic and worth it.
I don't really like driving games but it look quite fantastic graphic wise.
One of the biggest flaws to steam is it's consumer support, but I like to see a CEO that worth millions still care about a single consumer. He is still touching the ground so that's pretty good to know.
Console has no option, you are stuck with medium quality and low framerate
How is having the possibility to push high resolution and framerate even a bad thing? I'll run it better then a ps4 with a 2.5 year old rig and when I play it in 3-4 years it's going to be 60 fps 4k maxed while your game will be stuck at sub 30 fps low res low quality... for the same price.
After seeing the paris demo My jaw dropped.
Do you buy computers at best buy? 1500 lol
I have the option to turn it on, what do you have? 30 FPS, lower quality settings, sub hd res...
The features new in windows 10 are features that are literally 5-6 years old on any linux distro. I don't use LUNIX distros because I can't play every games but if I could I would 100% be on it because "Linux mint >>>> anything microsoft can come up with" is 100% true.
Honestly 4k is not that expensive... 980 sli and a 700$ monitor. That's the price of a nice trip to Europe. I mean, people buy cards for 25-35k it's not like it's out of reach. I could today buy hardware to run it (obviously won't but still could) and I work a min wage 3 months a year while I'm studying.
Models look fantastic. Not really a racing fan but it's quite awesome looking.
As a pc gamer looking at this article.
1) Games: All the games I want are not released... Uncharted, bloodborne, the order, the last guardian...
2) More Complex and Expansive Gameplay: So does gaming on my pc.
3) Share Play: I buy games to play for myself, not quite the system seller but still nice to have.
4) Better Performance: That's the main reason to play on my pc ... 1440p 60 fps instead of sub 1080p 30fps...
I could see the lack of games being a reason. There are not many great games released yet.
I've paid 30$ for dayz 1 year ago on release day of the alpha, currently at 290h played. I took a break and will comeback in a few months for another few hundreads hours.
I don't have this many hours in the entire uncharted series + the entire infamous series combined...
What the hell is their problem?
You don't compare with image for ants. 600*300 for two screenshot that are 4k and 1080p what the hell.
How is this a moronic comparison? You think no one would like to see the difference between an old gen and new hardware? The track and car are the same and the video is actually very well done and it shows what an old gen game looks like versus current gen one.
Obviously there is a major difference, but this is to illustrate what the difference are: Quite big.
What's moronic here is that you can't fathom this.
