PS3 at release was preaty much a high end pc, ps4 at release was much more of a low end budget pc. They had to cut cost to make it affordable and not another 600+$ console and it turn out to be great for them. Sadly, you can clearly see it's under powered. Specially considering stacked memory with just Insane bandwidth increase.
Waiting on 290x and 144hz 1440p screen, gonna be there in may right after school ending for witcher 3 and gtA 5. Cannot wait.

Here, to put an end to the useless argument. In the real world pc hardware does more with similar specs. That's what I find really weird. Probably because of the really low end cpu in the consoles but still. 7850 pushing 80% more pixels then the ps4 with higher quality settings... same with gta 5.
The acer predator 3440*1440 IPS 144hz is tempting me. Gonna cost an arm and a leg but I might bite. Last monitor I'll need for the next decade basically.

Quite interesting, considering the ps4's gpu is a 7850 downclocked and play at 30 fps 1080p.
There is a reason why... Skill gap with a keyboard and mouse is much higher then with a controller.
In ffXIV you could tell who was playing on a console it was so obvious.
The game is better, why should we care if it's released later? 720p 30 fps with dips isn't something I want to experience in 2015...

I don't think people with 760 got 4k screens, and if they do, they didn't think much before buying one.
They aren't even using 3gb at 4k very high settings, you will be fine with 2gb at 1080p.
List is pretty bad, not mentioning the 290 with is the best price /performance at high end level or the 280 that is just much better then anything in it's price range...

Such a great deal! Wow, you've got this figures out don't you? Wasting 25 minutes of your time back and forth from the store to cope out 20-40$ on a game you won't be able to play again just to playing it at sub hd resolution and 30 fps with dips instead of just clicking download, play it and keep it for ever at what resolution I want for the same price.
Consoles are a joke, they are fixed hardware on a closed platform that does not pro...
It's going to cost you 400$ just to play online on top of the 400$ console and you get a lesser experience, you have to buy your games again to get a resolution upgrade, you don't have access to mods, games are more expensive... It all add up.
Everyone need a pc these days anyway, upgrading your run of the mill pc to a gaming one isn't that expensive.But frankly, I dont go argue that the steak is lesser because of the price if you compare it to spam, sure both get...
And res and quality AA...

I've had many day 1 games for 35-40% plus a free game or two and usually 3-4 months after it's way cheaper on pc and the bugs are ironed out...
Honestly if you do the math pc is cheaper and you get a better experience.
pc>ps4>ps3 ofc, but how much? That's what those screenshots are for. Quite the difference, even versus the ps4 version. Glad I waited.
