I'd prefer building it myself at this point. Save money and have some fun. case look nice but not a deal breaker. Sêcially if you are investing in a 1 grand cpu..

Gddr5 is based on DDR3, we had gddr5 for years now on video cards. Sony used gddr5 as a memory pool for both cpu and gpu but on pc it's not the same. In fact, the memory on the ps4 is actually slow compare to current gddr5 module on video cards.

Personally I like to go back to some of my older games and let's say in 6 years I want to play metro well I'll probably play in 4k 120fps and with the consoles you are stuck at 1080p...

Great vs is 1440p (and over, really more is better)and over 85hz for low persistance mod. So yes ps4 won't provide a great experience compare to pcs and pcs in a few years.

bf3 bfbc2 and bf2 had more players on pc because they where good games. bf4 is just bf 3.5 with many bugs so they moved on. People on ps4 has nothing else to play.

controles are just ban for any mmo. Just go play ff mmo and you can tell witch is playing on pc and who is on a controller because of how bad they are.
There is over 22 000 games on pc. The biggest console library by far is the ps2 with shy of 3000 games. Ps4 and xbone don't even have in total 300 games each as of right now and most of them are on pc.

-Low presistence require 90 fps on a 90+ hz screen.
-VR with a screen right on your eyes require over 4k resolution if you don't want to see jaggies.
-Ps4 can't do both of these while maitaining eye candy.

I've played the game a year ago in 1440p 60 60 with 3 of my buddies not sure how it wasn't better then playing at lower res a year later on a controller any better.
I always feel like video for comparison isn't really great because of the compression.
Go play you favorite game in 240p or at 10 fps and tell me having a crisp image and smooth gameplay isn't an important factor.
