I believe they are playing their cards right. This year they are trying to pull in both their hardcore and their casual gamer with Smash and Pokemon, respectively.

I think the article got the wording abit wrong. While it doesn’t support handheld mode, it still support portable/tabletop mode. Just remove the joycon from the console and you’re good to go.
Alot of devs can learn from Sony on how to make great SP games. However, the harsh reality is not all of them can sell as good as Sony’s games which is why they resort to lootbox or MT bullsh*t.

You’re right. This information is outdated. I would expect Nintendo to reveal official sale numbers right after Pokemon or Smash has launched when it is likely that the Switch would be at 30 mils or more units sold.
