looks like they quite enjoyed HAZE
I think they just picked the wrong level to show off HAZE, there merely wasn't enough going on and it felt like it was the level where you start thinking what's that person on bout then you gotta wait.. I'd rather have played some more intense levels.
that is a load of poop and you know it.
just look at the leap from resistance 1 to Ratchet and clank.
hey marbles, it was confirmed bacl on 2.2 that in game xmb features are coming with 2.4
I bet you wish you kept quiet now.
it was stated a while before update 2.3 that firmware update 2.4 would contain in game xmb features. I don't think it'll be full, but that would be pointless anyway.
I think it'll just be access to the friends list and the new trophies system, which I look forward to =)
I think we've all gathered it was a thumb.
if only it weren't though * pulsates eyebrows suggestively *
maybe it's an add ( I know it's obviously not going to ever surface as a real ad ) for the fact that underneath the gorgeous body ( ala, aspheticaly pleasing casing design on playstation and man's rather lovely definition in all the right places.. ) there is a deeper and darker secret which can only be realised with thorough examination ( aka the cell )
...
I must completely agree, how dare they defile such a yummy body.
yet Uncharted ( which came out at the same time in the life of the playstation3 as gears of war did on the XBOX360 ) looks as good as this gears of war 2 footage, in textures and lighting
I prefer KZ2 in it's graphical department purely because of the character models. I love the Helghast and I prefer the ISA.
I hate how IGN said about KZ2 having almost forced machismo in some of its lines, yet Gears of Wars main character ( imo ) is far overly manly, especialy in hi...
I know that they both a have a certain disposition, but I'd rather be civelized, so far multiplatform games have generaly been sharper and more polished so what they say holds some weight. maybe the facts touted aren't always correct, but I wouldn't know I'm not a developer.
from what I've seen Jenzo recently said that KZ2 looked good aswell, so they don't always talk about their system blindlessly as some would believe, they have had plenty of good fuel to talk down about the ...
I wouldn't say it's the most definitive off road racer because of monster trucks. I would say it's due to the replayability the tracks off along with the intese action.. the tracks offer so much danger that the intesity is incredible. Playing against a friend whose sat next to me is going to be my definitive reason to buy this game, because I can't wat to go through a tight squeeze and smash them into a tree and see their face or push them off of a high edge =)
Then the monster trucks...
I think if people do actually buy it on their PLAYSTATION 3 then I'll be quite amazed. I think it'll just be a little time filler for most. The game just wont be able to compare, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift will have such great production value considering the team are under sony so get help from other developers and they only have to work on the one console.
I'm huigely looking forward to Motorstorm 2 and I'll check out the demo for Pure, but I can't see it taking my money.
none the less, multiplatform titles are rapidly becoming equal on platforms. Which all in all is good news with all people and realistically should be good enough for both side's fanboys.
I think I'll still be passing this up for Motorstorm 2 none the less.
what do you think about how that game looks like it's coming along ??
sure, none of us have played the game yet so judging whether we'll play it or not is a little far fetched, but when Motorstorm has proved itself and is going to offer double the first game, in terms of players, physics, environments, tracks and graphics, I'm sure you can see why we think that Motorstorm is going to be more to our tastes.
Also alot of people simply don't have the money to keep buying many games, I know I don't because I have to pay for many games.
just like other developers will hold back the PS3 version of their games. ( Ghostbusters being my current example )
lets all just cut back on the fanboyism here for a moment shall we.
Sixaxis would be a big plus for my decision on buying the game for a certain console, but I'll be passing this for Motorstorm 2 =)
"may be more than a bump in the road for heavy hitters like Motorstorm 2"
sure, it may well be. The only problem with that is that Motorstorm will come along and drive a monstertruck straight over it's ass.
not to mention the stupidly annoying police AI, why can't they get it right ?? they haven't changed any AI like that.. the police are the same.. the people in cars pull out in front like complete goons.
but seriously the polic is ridiculous. They ought to look at Mafia, that game had good police.. hit there car and get a ticket. not have them come out all over the top and shoot at us. and other cars can hit them and they don't go for them. It's sometimes just too frustrating af...
if I remember correctly there's only about 3 million people on PSN. ( last heard that a while ago.. I think )
so a decent length campaign is actually quite necessary. I don't want this to be another COD4 with it's riciulously short campaign. I think I speak for a lot of other people aswell when I say that a decent length campaign with a good online would make it even more successful than a short campaign with good online. COD4 may aswell had just be online only.

Strange, because judging by the videos and screens ( direct feed I'm talking about) the textures upclose look bloody good. they're better than any other I've seen. the only way we'll see textures that great up close is the end of the cycle and on PC's
Talk about trying to pick at anything just to give a bit of negativity. But I suppose that in the long run the more negativity there is now, the more the developers will go. well we'll show them, which is exactly what has been don...
that is one very much incredible pile of sh1t you just spouted there. Who talked about the textures ?? nobody.. and why ?? because they look fantastic. People are talking about the colours. Colours are not any different in the medal of honour games, just the textures ( not too big a difference ). Why you're bringing that up makes no sense.
stop trying to make the Playstation3 look bad at all costs. lets just enjoy the games and agree that KILLZONE 2 DOES look very, very good.
I'm on the same page. I never got the first one ( not for the same reasons though ) But I'm defonatly going to pick this one up. I downloaded the demo back in december and just can't gget rid of it. I enjoy it alot with friends taking in turn. I'm so pleased this has splitscreen. The foliage is looking pretty fantastic, I can't wait for the final product. This game is the only racing game I've ever really enjoyed.
Love using the motion controlls too, I've never played it withou...
I think they're most certainly just playing it safe with the 10 million prediction. I think that sales are going to increase jugely in june with MGS4, I know of a few people buying the console because that games coming out =) and what with some great multiplatforms put alongside some quality exclusives, 10 million is an easy target. Not to mention you get high def movie playback straight out of the box.
if they bring the trophies with the 2.4 firmware and release it on a disc w...
