You're making assumptions of a game that's just under a year from release, of which we've seen towo early build showings of the game in early two early levels.
we've not seen anything about the online play, we've not seen any of it's other features and yet you still say oh it doesn't bring anything.. you have no idea what it brings because we don't know anywhere near enough about it.

Sure it's outsold it in america a few times and such, but it's not been by a very wide margin, europe it's doing fairly well and it's not doing too bad in Japan. But if they cut down the price of it, I could see the Playstation kicking in some strong momentum only to follow up by keeping the momentum going, with some great (opinion) exclusives coming and keeping through to next year.

they have shown off both the 360 build and the Ps3 build. They looked pretty solid, obviously a few issues on both here and there, but they're well on the right track.

I disagree that it's a shame it's coming in feb. Overall I'm happy with this move. The Fall season is pickled with good titles, exclusive and third party, whereas the opening to the year would probably be drab and boring in terms of games. I thought COD 4 was actually majorly over rated. The Textures were so very bland. and the lack of animation in anything in the environment made it seem way too still.
watch some of the videos in high definition of Killzone 2. Just wow, the textures when they pop in cover are great for a first person game.
then there's the smoke being blown after explosions and such. not to mention the animations. I can see why the Cell is being used so much.
