Xbox game pass is a strategy based on their current situation which is not good compared to the competitors. Xbox has tried many others with no positive fruits. The Las attempt was the Xbox X.

Nintendo, with a underpowered hardware and an horrible network service is doing way better than Xbox. Why? Exclusives games that you cannot play anywhere else. Oh and they are single player too.

The Netflix of video games?

First you need to understand what is Netflix which is available in most devices and is not bound to any brand or device. Is Xbox game pass going to do the same? No. Then is not the Netflix of video games.

Next Xbox move will change Xbox, not consoles. Sony and Nintendo are on a solid position right now. Xbox is the one who needs desperately to do something if they plan to survive.

The "most powerful console" in the universe didn't had a positive impact for Microsoft. It is fair to believe that this will do any better?

What is the rate in which Microsoft publish a game?
Isn't that exactly the area where they are lacking the most?

I don't see how this is going to impact gaming when Xbox right now is the least popular of the 3 consoles in the market and judging by how the last efforts they had made turned out, I doubt it. The most powerful console in the universe didn't make anything for them, do we really think this is going to do better?

Normally, a console maker (Nintendo, Sony) first let their products speak for themselves and then their user base "believe" in them automatically.

Asking to hold on without proof and with a clear tendency of years in not complying, is very much to ask.

When they had exclusives, the PS3 turned the table on them so I don't think Xbox could turn the tables even with exclusives.

Note that before the exclusives argument , the argument was: Xbox could turn the tables with a more powerful console. What happend with that? No article taking about "we were wrong"? Just turn the page like nothing happened?

I think this article is just a wishful thinking more than a real possibility.

Where are the facts? Actions > words.

Despite 2 new consoles released this year, Playstation managed to retain its crown 👑 in the console market. That is amazing.

The Xbox didn't even win a NPD month in 2017 despite having a new console released. They only needed to be wary of Sony but now they have the Switch too. I don't see how they are going to manage on 2018.

The Switch had a great momentum in 2017 despite being the most underpowered console/handheld.

That video was amazing. That's an excellent job well done.

Not releasing on the #1 console in the market which has triple the user base of Xbox is crazy.

They will loose million of sales not releasing on PS4.

Xbox did not won any NPD on 2017.

Is that a great year? Wow, standards must be very low on Xbox.

2950d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Facts:
Xbox did not win any NPD in 2017.
PS4 won 2017 globally and on USA.
2017 was an horrible year for Xbox overall. Even Nintendo had more momentum than Xbox.

Microsoft desperation makes them say things that hurts them even more.

The problem lies in which kind of ports.

Current gen AAA ports or just old ports.

2953d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

When they said 3rd party games, they referred to current and new games, not old ports. There is a difference there that you just decided to ignore.

These companies want to destroy the gaming industry with their greed. Why can't people have a fair balance game? That's a GAME!!!
