Motion controls are great obviously when it is implemented properly into a game and is not a mere tack on. I don't see motion control as a backpedal at all, I just see it as an addition. I am sure Sony knows something we might not know so let's just give them a chance to prove themselves in regards to the motion controls.
This isn't exactly news. Why announce every time when a 360 game is pirated? Yes people who pirate run the risk of getting banned, however those who usually get banned are either careless or have no idea what they're doing. Why people use such racial, religious and homophobic slurs is not a resultog gaming. That is a matter of preference my friend. Many prefer MGS franchise over Splinter Cell. In my opinion I do think MGS is the better franchise and Splinter Cell is not too far behind, but why would you even bring up MGS in the first place? The review was on Splinter Cell if I am not mistaken. I think both franchises are great and both can coincide with one another. No need to make remarks as such to make your point that you like Splinter Cell.

I definitely agree that the top five is not enough, but I do agree with the list. Snake Eater was definitely a feat and I think it was the best of all the Metal Gear Solid games with it edging out MGS4 and MGS1 slightly. The song they play at the end is beautiful and it definitely grips gamers at the heart.
To each his own. To those who have both the 360 and PS3 I say perhaps you can try both versions. If you can only choose one then mabel it's best to go with the MLB 10. 2K is the king when it comes to NBA but their hockey and baseball games are not up to par as yet. It does not matter which version you play as long as your having fun. It amazes me the silly comments which people make about their preference for a system. Does the 360 graphical edge means it's more fun to play? Just enjoy the game and let's try to act a little more mature.
I lost my Heavy Rain trophies, then when I got new ones it slowly started adding them back. When I finally got the "smart girl" trophy and synced, all of them were there. I think a simple sync is the key to most lost trophies. If anyone lost any of theirs I am sorry for your misfortune, but I know we are all gamers and our soul purpose for gaming should not be for getting trophies although it's a nice addition.
I think the writer went into the game with different expectations. I knew as a customer and doing a little research that this game would be different than me playing my typical FPS or manipulating what is going on in my environment. Perhaps it was not as enjoyable experience for him as that is his personal opinion, but so far it is for me. Yes the game starts slow intentionally to familiarize players with te control scheme, but it does pick up and I am still guessing to see who the killer is....

Very nice behind the scenes look in on GOW. I just got GOW 1&2 collection and man the game is difficult sometimes. One thing I would like to see hiphopgamer do in his interviews is cut down on the "Oh my *od". It is quite distracting and also unprofessional. Very good interview and I know he is continuing to make strides as I hope he continues to grow and reach his potential.
I have not opened up Bioshock 2 nor have I finished the first, but Heavy Rain is definitely an experience where you will either love or hate it. I am enjoying my time with it so far and I propose if you have the opportunity to rent it please do. I am a FPS man, but this game really has me engrossed in it. Have not felt this way since MGS4.
All risks have it's consequences, but I believe the risk will pay off ultimately for Heavy Rain. We may not see the 1 mil. sold on day one, however I believe throughout the game's lifetime it should see a promising market. People may not run to it because it is not a full fledged shoot-em up, but I think it's niche audience will be there.
Here's hoping that the developers continue to make new and interesting ips.
It really is a great game as I have not finished it as yet being caught up with Uncharted, MW2 and Grad school. I also heard Sucker Punch may be making a sequel to this. Good job developers as it is a nice change of pace from the FPS as sometimes that genre oversaturates the market. Variety is key for the gamer.
A price drop would truly close the gap between the PS3 and 360. I believe both consoles will drop their prices this year, but this is great for all gamers. Hopefully those who own one console can buy the other to experience both sides.
