the thing about minority repot was that he wore gloves with lights on the fingers in order to interact with the screen. This gave him more control. It was like having a PS3 move on the end of every finger and not just the camara on it own. Until these camaras can detect 10 lights, or each finger. They won't be much use for an operating system. Unless its a slimed down version like Windows Media.
why should we wait until next gen for 3D? that makes no sense. I for one will not be buying a 3D TV for a couple of years. But when i do, there will be a large selection of content for me to use. I think i would be more than a little upset if i bought a new TV and had next to nothing to take advantage of its 3D abilitys.
i still think the it should have been called the XBOX 180 as this is what Microsoft do to their customers all the time.

for me personaly, i prefer move. And thats just because it adds something to games that i play. Kinect seems more of a gimmic device and aimed at a younger age group. I'm very happy with Move. Seeing how happy my 6 year old was playing eyepet without the card was well worth it. Must admit there is not much for myself to do on it yet (already platinumed heavy Rain and RE5) but with LBP2 and KZ3 i will be very happy.

i totally agree that it won't effect people who play offline and don't need to update firmware. But it will limit people downloading games like MW2 for its online play as they won't be able to patch it without the origional disc.
well it cannot be used online anway as it only loads from the disc and does not apply any downloaded patches to the games, so map packs won't work either. I also think this will just be patched out in a firmware update. Sony may just limit the USB use. The cannot turn it off as that would just wreck their Move Controler as the PSeye needs a USB. I think if you do get this, you wll be stuck with FW 3.41 and have no online.

Well if it is legit. Sony cannot remove USB support as a USB is required for the PSeye. All i see them doing is increasing the file sizes on games to Max out a Blu Ray. this would slow the piracy as not everyone could download a 50gb file. It still wouldn't stop piracy but maybe slow it down.

At least with the move i only need to buy the move controler. If i like it i can then get the nav unit too. With kinect its all in at £150. Move is defo the better deal for us that already own a console.
