could it be a VR event, headsets on every seat. see e3 in VR. You walk in take you seat put on the VR set on and your suddenly sat in the E3 conference. if not this time it will happen.
seems like MS went for the better option to be honest. They realized they had to pump some money in, to make the xone sell more. Instead of cutting its price they uncouple the kinect and pump some money into their service and offer more free games and better ones than previously offered. Turn it into a rental service and all them 360 owners will be looking at them free xone games they get each month and asking mummy for an xone for christmas. Smart move, well played.
Love my vita, well worth the price and it also comes in handy as an extra pad for the ps4 (came in handy for mercenary kings). If your a PS Plus member your getting games for it anyway so upto you if you wanna invest further.

Why no media steaming?
vita is a great little machine but its got too many problems going for it. good thing about the 3ds, dsxl,dslite is that they fold up. Thats quite handy when you want to throw it in you pocket with your keys or its left on the floor by the kids in there room. Vita needs a little more care which makes it less convenient as a mobile device. For me its well worth its price for all the free games via PS+ but i can't see me buying much for it to be honest.

My 2 girls were doing this the other day by accident, they were playing 2 player lego marvel when i wanted the TV for the football, so the use remote play and carried on playing 2 player on the vita. made me think it would be cool way to play split screen games.
well this looks really good, defo buy for me, done by a team of only 6 people too. anyone complaining about 720p vs 108op should remember this
one really stupid thing is that you are unable to use it for 2 player if using the same account. the ps4 has to be logged into a different account to the vita. hoping they fix this later.
I picked up a vita not long after getting my ps4. got mercs with it and with ps+ im getting 2 games a month. by the end of the year i will have 28 games for it just for the £40 i paid for PS+, thats in a addition to the 12 for the PS4 and 28 on the ps3. every ps4 owner should get one as your only missing out. Its not a perfect device but it not crap.
Edit, just wish it would connect to my media server so i can stream stuff to it.

i think vita sales will pick up after the ps4 launch. Suddenly there will be a lot more PS+ members who, after awhile,realise they have amassed quite a free vita game collection. I already have quite a few myself and will be picking up a vita next year for certain. I mean what a deal, £40 a year and i get games for ps3, ps4 and the vita each month.
guess this would count out a midnight launch for some shops.
EA teamed with MS when they had there original DRM box plan. This was why EA advised they were gonna drop the online key stuff. But now they realise the only way they can do this now is to sucker people into it. An outstretched hand offering a free Fifa 14, the other hand hidden behind the back with the DRM knife firmly grasped and ready to strike. If the x1 beats the PS4, you can bet the original plans return.
not sure to be honest but they are pushing it into all their new gear. basicly anything Sony that goes on your coffee table has NFC. Would have thought a PS4 pad would be a good way to promote the feature.
Edit: Sorry, the feature I was thinking of is called "One Touch" and is based on NFC.

Omg so true, 5 mins of noise just for it to crash or the tape chew up in the machine lol. but still not as long as typing in code for 3 hours just to get a stick man to walk across the screen.

1 a free online option. Dont see why i need to pay a charge when i hardly play online and can get all of their other stuff on my PC for free. But paying a fee to try something i have already paid for is taking the mick.
2. Drop the proprietary hard drives. Its no use to me when the console has gone yet i would pay more for it.
3. Show me new IPs, you didnt get me with numerous Halos, Gears, F...
this only seems a benefit if
A, you don't mind waiting a year or more for EA games
or
B. you buy 4 full price EA digital games a year.However, due to the 4 in 12 month restriction, you would have to wait until you renew next year to get your "insert sport" 16. Plus this option loses you 4 of the next years free games.
