I'm talking about textures, not edges. The game's bad default anti-aliasing makes the textures very blurry. And since you don't have time to stare at edges, the jaggies SMAA brings shouldn't bother you because you get better textures.

I don't even read or pay attention to reviews lol. I watch gameplay or play a demo if available and if it seems like something I want to play I play it.
I've discovered many games that have been great even if they haven't gotten very high scores like Lost Planet 2.
Other people's opinions are useless.
8 isn't average at all. 6-7 is.
