No drought for me. I play all kinds of games, so every week there's something coming out that interests me. Now, if you just play the biggest AAA games then yes, there's some drought.
Why do people keep making IGN posts hot? Particular the reviews? It's always one reviewer for a game, so I wonder why someone would put weight on ONE person's opinion.
Series X will have more 60fps (and 120fps) games because it's simply a more powerful box. What the dev here is talking about is graphical fidelity, but frame rate is a whole another beast.
Considering devs don't care about frame rates on consoles, I'm going to assume he means that PS5 will be capable of similar graphics as Series X, but the objectively lower spec numbers mean that the games won't run at as high frame rates as Series X games.
PC is getting better SSDs at the end of this year. It's cool that the console has a good part, but ultimately it won't be the leading part 1 year from now.
The SSD wank is getting insane. It seems that there's nothing else special about PS5... this is worrying.
By the time first Unreal Engine 5 games come out (which won't be until 2021/2022) the SSD will already be behind and the console has lost its only special part... not to mention the fact that barely anyone will even use the SSD in any significant way...
I remember Killzone devs back in 2013 saying PS4 is like a "supercomputer"..... ..
Empty marketing talk which will barely be seen, and definitely not for the first 2 or so years. And at that point it won't be anything special so...

Horizon Zero Dawn is not a Sony PlayStation 4™ exclusive. https://store.steampowered....
The true difference will be in the frame rate. Expect tons of games than run at 60fps or 120fps on Series X to run at 30fps on PS5.
The devs are talking about graphics, not frame rate.

Best looking games that ran like poop.

"Slow" is an understatement. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
It's most likely just a server maintenance.
Annoying that these incompetent news sites won't mention that you can keep it forever after you claim it.

Review scores? Lmao.
The rest of the world? Very few people in the world in that case.
The port seems pretty damn bad: https://i.imgur.com/Nx2ODEV...

Lots of empty talk, lots of empty promises.
And you can keep it forever.
They could still give an option.
