Sony made a mistake, a rather huge one, but they took the actions that would seem necessary. Now, they are learning from their mistake. No major (or minor really) damages have occurred and yet people are just saying Sony is the worst thing ever. I usually NEVER stand up for corporations, but this entire situation seems unfair. What about the hackers? Do we no longer want them to be comprehended?

Okay.....Has there been a confirmation of any losses of money at all? Didn't Sony already say that they would cover any losses? This lawsuit baffles me. Not to mention the unbelievably stupid amount that they are suing for. Not only that, but is the public forgetting about the people who actually hacked the network to get your information? Wow. This 'article' is umm......WRONG. Games are the only free things that expire. Seriously, I am getting a couple of PSN cards in the next few days, so I will get some discounts, as well as some free themes and avatars. Then, there is the unnanounced free content. The writer here needs to do some damn researching.

Umm, Rap, nearly every corporation exists to make money. Sony, they make money, we have fun. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Personally, I think Heavy Rain is one of the most depressing games ever. Call me a wimp, but the fact that it is so depressing is the reason why I haven't started a second playthrough. Just shows how much of a masterpiece that it is.

I didn't 'lose' anything from this and if I recall correctly, neither has anyone else at this point.
I can almost understand that, but this time around, Sony has had more fierce competition and the competition released earlier. I will agree with the online statement and I am glad for that. Really, it was all a race for the 'I am first' crown and both MS and Sony made mistakes from that, but Sony has really impressed me over the past few years. Also, I do not understand the 'cool thing to own' logic. Its preference mainly.

You say that MS did what PS did in 1995...Then you don't even mention what that is. Sony has made a number of mistakes this gen, but damn, you have to respect them coming back this much. This PSN issue will be no different.
