Marvel is involved in the game. Capcom is developing the game but Marvel has complete control on what characters are used and how they are displayed. Q&A/Testers are from both parties. My friend is a tester for Marvel.

Dude I've seen interviews, read articles, played the game (and the awful Indigo Prophecy), and also have heard negative comments from people in the gaming industry.
I know that David Cage and his studio reside in France. He was originally a musician for games and film and tried to become a writer for film but it never happened.

David Cage is a rejected Hollywood writer so he writes for games instead.
He's a horrible writer like most game writers, but he's also a pretentious, arrogant, condescending jerk who thinks he's a video game savior bringing in a new generation of "mature" gaming.
He's right up there with Peter Molyneux and Hideo Kojima.
I'm still impatiently waiting for Disaster: Day of Crisis and Fatal Frame 4. I don't care what Reggie "Frankenstein" Fils-aime says.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is in development. My friend is a game tester for Marvel (Marvel is finally involving itself in all outside media properties like games and film now since Iron Man 1) and he won't shut up about how "awesome" Deadpool is.

For one they could try to make a unique experience instead of just rehashing the second half of DMC4.
I can't believe how many critics praise this.
I mean I like the main character, her moves, and the enemy designs, but seriously it's 10 hrs of tracking through the same looking environments and killing an assortment of 5 different enemy types. It's DMC4 with a chick.

God of War 3 has 3 impressive boss encounters (Poseidon, Hades, Chronos) but it's only visually impressive in spades.
I played through it one and a half times to try out the godly possessions and was let down.
It seems like all the last generation franchises are the least impressive looking this generation (Halo, Ninja Gaiden, Fable, Final Fantasy (mixed bag like God of War))
