Was really hoping for a new Motorstorm with the sensation of speed like Driveclub. Dang.
While I always loved Motorstorm series, it did always feel a little... slow.

BooHoo don't buy it then. I for one had purchased it originally on PS2 got the 3rd Colossus went to college and never really played that game let alone the PS2 again. Now I'm totally into playing this again on PS4. I'm on the 9th Colossus and loving it. I don't know where you are from but here in the US no one is holding a gun to our head telling us what remake/game we should buy...well not yet.

Don't know? It is for Shadow of the Colossus. Last up date was I played it for the first time a day after launch.
And I'm about 8 hours in with different play sessions and all my Trophies have yet to show up in feed and I'm like on the 9th Colossus. Yet you go to individual game and it does show them. Perhaps a hard reboot would fix that.
Not a big deal but nice to keep track on iphone App. And yes I have forced a sync on PS4

XBerts can have the resolution at this point... checkerboard rendering to native 4K is of diminishing returns anyways.
Well the game did not fail it's gone on to sell 2.36 million at retail, but the launch was abysmal.
So the developer paid the price for that. But after the updates/server updates that game turned into a gem.

The sense of speed is like no other racing game I've played they nailed it. It does have a steep learning curve with the drifting but once you get it it's gold.
While the launch of Driveclub was a complete mess, what that game went on to be with it's server/updates is just amazing if only that happened at launch the studio would still be active. Drive club is not sim nor is it arcade. It's a great mix of Arcadesim & not Simarcade like Forza 7. I have been playing console racing games since the beginning and this is one truly amazing game. And yes we probably will not see DC2 or Motorstorm ever again.
Well I do know members of the studio have merged with Codemasters and they are now making a game (Onrush) that is sorta like Motorstorm but it looks like it's trying to capture the "oh look how extreme we are vibe" and that's not Motorstorm that's Sunset Overdrive with cars.
