My only complaint is texture work. I think it is more a shortcoming of sony's machine. I just don't understand where all the bumb mapping has gone?

I was very impressed. I'm not een a Halo fan. I think the single player looked as good as their e306 target. It looked good. The artstyle of Halo doesn't allow for Realistic metal and enviorments. It's ment to be a barren planetry adventure. I think the railer showed great physics and a solid premise. It's kinda of the preety girl that gets ignore because everyone expects her to be the prom queen.

It was a solid looking title. I liked it but the textures are just plain bad. I don't get why some many ps3 games suffer from texture issues. Get the textures up to next - gen standards, mork on some of the animations and it will be a hit. It is definatly WAY below the e3 05 render. However, that doesn't matter. It still looks good. It's no tsomething I would go throwing in someones face though.
Chracter modes in Multi-player matches will take a hit to produce that many. seeing that the textures look terrible already, i'm not intrested in seeing that many. Drop it to 8 vs 8 and I'm in.
How can you be showing a Pre-pre alpha 2 years into developement.

So i will just say. I wish this game all the luck in the world. I hope it turns out to be an amazing game. Personally i don't see it happening but I wish it well. We need as many AAA games as possible.
MS charges for Live. Live alongs as the best online download servie (Ms makes money on purchases).
The advertizing on live also isn't free.
Games sold make smoney for Ms. In case you didn't know MS has the highest attach rate for games per console.
Additional, prepehrials are also generating profits. Don't worry about Ms. You seem to have your mind set on a Ps3 anyway.
