I agree on the consoles but I dont see the problem with the doctor and child analogy.

Battlefront was awesome there's nothing like taking down the shields and flying into an enemy ship and then going around tearing stuff up from the inside. Good times but I guess not everyone likes every game
They really took a huge misstep with the Wii U from everything to system design Being so similar to the Wii to being underpowered to there marketing of the system everything has just seemed off and its sad because they do offer some solid games and I actually liked the tablet controller. They really missed what the gaming and multimedia market wanted which is evideced by the PS4 and X1 selling like they have. They really need to overhaul what there doing or they will be out of home consoles ...
The thing that bothered me about the game wasn't the microtransactions the game was fine it just was really missing any real charm to the game that made me want to keep returning to play it so I sold it today and actually made 10 bucks off it as I bought it for 35 with the Amazon discount and a 15 dollar off coupon and sold it for 45 so Im happy it was fun for a few races.

True but the 360 had a lot of production problems so the consoles hit stores slowly at first even though the demand was high so the real test will be for both new consoles after about the 3-4 million mark after the general rush and the holidays how they continue to sell but on topic I have both an X1 and a PS4 and really enjoy both but if I had the choice I wouldn't have bought the Kinect. Its not a matter of if it works or not to me the voice commands are neat at first but not something ...
Idk if it will arrive tommorow Amazon dropped the ball twice on my X1 order. My Day One edition with the overnight shipping was said to be lost but then arrived a week later two days before the standard edition replacement console they had to send outto replace the one they thought they lost. It was a mess.
Yes even though the issue with Fifa was huge on the 360 for years it must be a PSN issue.
I think the problem is the price is still too high for a lot of gamers. The bundles are helping but you look at it in comparison to the PS4 which is 100 dollars more and it's hard to see what inside the console is justifying the price being where it's at. The Wii U will have a lot of fun games but I know for me personally I'm waiting for another price drop before I buy one again.
I have both and it really isn't that much of a big deal it's cool the first few times but it's nothing special after a few times.

Well the AI does need a lot of work. When the defenders act like mind readers and can always be in perfect position whenever the CPU falls behind too much to there liking but your recievers dont react to a ball thrown right next to them way too often.
